The development of information and communication technologies has caused changes in many fields of human activity and led to numerous social changes. They also influence the young-est generation. With the intention to assess how wide the range of usage of modern technologies by early school age children is, the article below presents the results of surveys dedicated to the above mentioned issue.

Zapewnienie dziecku bezpieczeństwa w sieci to jedno z ważniejszych wyzwań współczesnego świata XXI w., tym bardziej że dostęp do internetu nie ogranicza się tylko i wyłącznie do komputera stacjonarnego, ale dotyczy również wielu urządzeń mobilnych. Przeprowadzone postępowanie badawcze miało na celu ukazanie zasadności edukowania studentów kierunków pedagogicznych w zakresie identyfikowania zagrożeń, w tym cyberprzemocy, które bezpośrednio wiążą się z korzystaniem z nowoczesnych technologii. Próbę badawczą stanowiła grupa 78 studentów II roku pedagogiki o specjalności edukacja wczesnoszkolna i wychowanie przedszkolne na Wydziale Pedagogiki i Psychologii Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach, przebadana za pomocą anonimowych kwestionariuszy ankiet.

Providing a child with safety on the Internet is one of the most important challenges of contemporary world of the 21st century. Even more so, considering that the access to the internet is possible not only by means of a computer but also applies to many mobile devices. The conducted research was aimed at demonstrating the legitimacy of educating students of pedagogy courses in the scope of identification of threats, including cyber violence, which are directly connected with the use of modern technologies. The study sample was made up of 78 students of the second year of Pedagogy with early-school education specialization and kindergarten education at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Silesia in Katowice, surveyed by means of anon-ymous questionnaires.

Niniejszy tekst stanowi próbę zebrania informacji na temat zespołu hiperkinetycznego, zna-nego szerzej jako zespół nadpobudliwości psychoruchowej ADHD. Ujęto w nim podstawowe informacje dotyczące zaburzenia w kontekście wyjaśnień terminologicznych, objawów, a także etiologii występowania. Zaprezentowano możliwość wykorzystania w procesie diagnozy nowoczesnego narzędzia – testu MOXO, który w precyzyjny sposób określa funkcjonowanie badanej osoby z uwzględnieniem wskaźników takich, jak: uwaga, czas reakcji, impulsywność oraz nadruchliwość.

The text below attempts to gather information on hyperkinetic syndrome, widely known as psychophysical hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It contains the basic information concerning this disorder in the context of terminology clarifications, symptoms as well as etiology of occurrence. The possibility of using a modern tool in the diagnostic process – MOXO test, has been presented. The test accurately defines functioning of the examined person, taking into account such indicators as: attention, reaction time, impulsiveness and hyperactivity.
