Industrial relations are a very important part of political system. The stability of this system depends on relations between employers, employees and the government (public administration). What is essential in this aspect is a social dialogue, which creates space for social partners’ interaction. The mechanism of effective social dialog ensures economic growth and social development. Western European countries are a good example here. However, the quality of relations between employers, employees and government in Central Europe is worse. The mechanism of social dialogue in Poland does not provide measurable profits either. The reason for it is that Polish social actors are not willing to cooperate or reduce their demands, and they prefer rivalry instead of cooperation so the current situation on Polish labour market is complicated. In the future perspective Polish social actors will be forced to cooperate because it is only social partnership on micro and macro levels that can solve social and economic problems.
