The article presented the results of empirical research on the sense of the quality of life in the context of personal features and coherence. Altogether 116 adults in early- (23–35 years old) and middle (36–60) adulthood were examined. In the course of the study three questionnaires: NEO-FFI, SOC Antonovsky’ego and PJŻ by Straś-Romanowska were used. The results show that the people with a higher sense of the quality of life are more coherent, extrovert, open, conscientious and amicable. The people with a lower sense of the quality of life are more neurotic. The tendency has been observed among people in early and late adulthood. The quality of life among the people in the early adulthood depends more on the biological factors, whereas in the case of people in middle-adulthood – it is more closely related to the metaphysical factors.
