Ocena konkurencyjności uczelni Mazowsza na tle polskiego szkolnictwa wyższego

The paper contains an overall assessment of the strategie position of Mazovia’s higher education institutions based on reports concerning different aspects of their operation. The assessment is based on tools traditionally used in strategie analysis of enterprises: PEST analysis, key success factors, and SWOT analysis. Those tools provide a synthetic evaluation of the external environment in which schools operate, and their competitive advantages versus Polish and foreign higher education institutions. Based on the assessment of the strategie position of Mazovian schools, recommendations are formulated regarding the necessary changes in the environment as well as the directions of restructuring within the schools.

Artykuł zawiera ogólną ocenę pozycji strategicznej uczelni Mazowsza opracowaną na podstawie raportów dotyczących poszczególnych aspektów ich działania. Do oceny wykorzystano narzędzia stosowane zazwyczaj w analizie strategicznej przedsiębiorstw - analizę PEST, analizę kluczowych czynników sukcesu uczelni Mazowsza oraz analizę SWOT, która w sposób syntetyczny pozwala ocenić zewnętrzne warunki funkcjonowania szkół wyższych oraz ich przewagi konkurencyjne w stosunku do uczelni w Polsce i za granicą. Z oceny pozycji strategicznej uczelni Mazowsza wynikają rekomendacje dotyczące zarówno koniecznych zmian w otoczeniu, jak i kierunków restrukturyzacji samych uczelni.

In the article the Author is searching the answer to the question whether the general criticism of Polish colleges and their graduates is right. Basing on a research of the opinions of employers of Masovia and on economic forecasts for the labor market, she is trying to assess the degree of fitting of graduates of Masovian colleges to the current and future labor market regarding the quantitative, structural and quality aspects, and to assess the situation of graduates of higher education institutions on the Masovian labor market using the SWOT analysis.

Opierając się na badaniach opinii pracodawcow Mazowsza i prognozach ekonomicznych dla rynku pracy, stara się ocenić stopień dopasowania absolwentow uczelni mazowieckich do obecnego i przyszłego rynku pracy pod względem ilościowym, strukturalnym i jakościowym oraz zdiagnozować sytuację absolwentow szkoł wyższych na mazowieckim rynku pracy za pomocą analizy SWOT.
