Na rynku pracy występuje zestawienie podaży pracy z popytem na pracę. Niedopasowanie ilości i jakości towaru, jakim jest praca, z popytem na pracę dotyka ludzi młodych, którzy wybierając kształcenie zawodowe mogą oczekiwać, że znajdą zatrudnienie w wyuczonym zawodzie. Rynek pracy weryfikuje wybory kształcenia, a rosnące oczekiwania pracodawców w zakresie wymaganych kompetencji powodują problemy związane z zatrudnialnością absolwentów szkół zawodowych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie rezultatów badań opinii instytucji rynku pracy na temat kompetencji uczniów szkół zawodowych. Temat artykułu wpisuje się w problematykę konfrontacji kształcenia zawodowego z potrzebami rynku pracy.

Labour market matches the supply of labour with the demand for labour. Mismatch between the quantity and quality of labour supplied and the market demand is particularly relevant to young workers, who expect to find employment in a profession related to the education undertaken. The labour market often fails to satisfy such expectations, as increasing requirements of the employers lead to employability issues among the vocational schools’ graduates. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of a survey measuring the labour market institutions’ outlook on the vocation schools’ graduates’ skills. The paper first into the wider narrative of confronting the vocational education with the labour market demands.
