Edukacja międzypokoleniowa i integracja międzypokoleniowa to jedne z najważniejszych wyzwań wynikających ze starzenia się społeczeństwa polskiego i jego konsekwencji. W obszarze tych wyzwań mieści się m.in. poszukiwanie nowych form instytucjonalnych służących integracji i edukacji międzypokoleniowej. W artykule przedstawiono projekt edukacyjnego domu międzypokoleniowego składającego się z: domu międzypokoleniowego, świetlicy środowiskowej, dziennego domu pobytu dla osób starszych. Planowana placówka wpisuje się w idee polskiej pedagogiki społecznej i pracy socjalnej, ukierunkowanej ku wyzwalaniu sił społecznych zarówno w wymiarze indywidualnym, grupowym, jak i społeczności lokalnej. Podstawą działalności opisywanej placówki jest szeroko pojęta edukacja, w tym edukacja międzypokoleniowa, co służy nie tylko wzbogacaniu i dalszemu rozwojowi jej podopiecznych, lecz także sprzyja solidarności społecznej oraz identyfikowaniu i wykorzystywaniu potencjału jednostek, grup i środowiska lokalnego.

Educational intergeneration house – innovation of actions for intergeneration integration

Intergenerational education and intergenerational integration are one of the most important challenges caused by the aging of Polish society and its consequences. The area of these challenges includes searching for new institutional forms for integration and intergenerational education. The article presents a project of an intergenerational educational house consisting of: intergenerational home, community club, day care centre for the elderly. The planned institution fits in with the ideas of Polish social pedagogy and social work, aimed at releasing social strengths both in the individual, group and local community dimension. The basis of the described institution's activity is the broadly understood education, including intergenerational education, which not only serves the enrichment and further development of its students, but also promotes social solidarity, identifies and uses the potential of individuals, groups and the local environment.
