Creativeness constitutes a subject of interest of many sciences, including pedagogy. Each discipline considers this phenomenon form its own perspective. From a pedagogical point of view, creativeness is perceived as a discipline of theoretical and practical knowledge. As regards practical knowledge, it is used with reference to the competence of modern teachers and their pupils. This article outlines some important issues, based on definitions and terminology related to the concept of creativeness as well as the phenomenon of creativity as an attitude demonstrated by creative individuals. The review of individual approaches to the aforementioned issues contained in this article is neither complete nor comprehensive, but focused exclusively on identifying the role played by creativity in pedagogy of creativeness and the sphere of education and upbringing of children.

Twórczość jest obiektem zainteresowania wielu nauk, także pedagogiki. Każda dyscyplina rozpatruje to zjawisko z własnej perspektywy. Na gruncie pedagogiki twórczości rozumiana jest jako dyscyplina wiedzy teoretycznej i praktycznej. W zakresie wiedzy praktycznej odnosi się do kompetencji współczesnego nauczyciela i jego uczniów. Artykuł wskazuje na istotne kwestie wyprowadzające z ustaleń definicyjnych i terminologicznych pojęcia twórczości zjawisko kreatywności jako postawę człowieka twórczego. Przegląd poszczególnych stanowisk na ten temat nie jest ani pełny, ani wyczerpujący, a jedynie skoncentrowany na ustaleniu miejsca kreatywności w pedagogice twórczości oraz roli, jaką pełni w sferze nauczania i wychowania dziecka.
