Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie znaczenia i rozwoju sektora usług w gospodarce w odniesieniu do PKB, dynamiki zatrudnienia w usługach, udziału wydatków publicznych oraz potrzeby efektywnego wydatkowania środków jednostek samorządu terytorialnego na realizację zadań własnych. Istotnym elementem wzrostu efektywności podmiotów usługowych jest doskonalenie systemów zarządzania. Zaprezentowane efekty zastosowania w samorządowej wielobranżowej spółce komunalnej elementów zbioru ciągłego doskonalenia zarządzania stanowią potwierdzenie zasadności implementacji CMI nie tylko w sektorze wytwórczym, lecz także w sektorze usługowym.

The purpose of this article is to present the significance and development of the service sector in the economy in relation to GDP, employment growth in services, the share of public expenditure and the need for local governments effective spending in order to carry out their tasks. An essential factor of the increased efficiency of service providers is to improve the management systems. The presented effects of applying the components of continuous improvement of management in multisector municipal company confirm the requirement of implementation of the CMI, not only in the manufacturing sector, but also in the service sector.

Artykuł przedstawia sposób postępowania, od momentu zebrania niezbędnych informacji umożliwiających przeprowadzenie symulacji komputerowej, po elementy związane z wprowadzaniem udoskonaleń, aż do momentu analizy monitorowanych wskaźników.

In this article we can see a proposal of verification of lean model, through the use of computer simulation. The article shows how it should be carrie out the verification, from the moment of gathering the necessary information to enable carrying out a computer simulation, the elements associated with the introduction of improvements until the analysis of the implemented inndicators.
