Before the 1st January 2013, ‘prior to the amendment’ version of the Act – the Energy Law was in force. It sanctioned the existence of natural monopoly in the supply of gaseous fuels or electricity. It placed the consumer in a much weaker position in relation to the supplier. The aim of the article is to present informal rules of procedure applied by individual consumers of the energy till the end of 2012, and after changes, i.e. since the beginning of 2013. The study includes information related to the psychology of the individual. It concerns the strategy of making a selection and actions which are taken by the individual recipient.

According to some estimations, the number of natural disasters increases in the world. Their occurrence often causes damages in the infrastructure and agriculture, death and suffering of many people. The public and private goods are destroyed. In the face of these worrying facts, counteracting for results of natural disasters is the key issue. The aim of the article is to present this kind of phenomena in Poland and actions connected with preventing their negative consequences.

W artykule odpowiedziano na pytanie badawcze „Jakie czynności podejmowane są na analizowanym terenie w celu zapobiegania negatywnym konsekwencjom powodzi?” i zweryfikowano hipotezę „W badanych powiatach prowadzone są podobne działania z zakresu przeciwdziałania skutkom powodzi”. Metodą badawczą była analiza porównawcza. Obszarem badań objęte zostały dwa polskie powiaty: zgorzelecki i lubański. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy można wysnuć następujące wnioski. Władze każdego z powiatów i wszystkich gmin na jego obszarze współpracują doraźnie z wieloma instytucjami zgodnie z planami zarządzania kryzysowego. Systemy przeciwdziałania skutkom powodzi na obszarze badanych powiatów można określić jako dobre. W powiecie lubańskim sfinansowano 57% strat spowodowanych przez powodzie, a w powiecie zgorzeleckim – 35%

Cel: Celem niniejszego artykułu było przedstawienie treningu kumite w karate WKF na podstawie analizy przygotowań do współzawodnictwa sportowego. Materiał i metoda: Dokonano rocznej obserwacji treningów w czterech sekcjach karate WKF (Klub Sportowy Funakoshi Shotokan Karate) w powiecie jeleniogórskim województwa dolnośląskiego. Dialektykę wykonano na podstawie zgromadzonych danych w formie nagrań, notatek, wywiadów z trenerami i zawodnikami. Wyniki: Metody dydaktyczne, etapy treningów, struktura czasowa treningów, środki oddziaływań oraz kontrola postępów były zgodne z założeniami teorii sportu. Wnioski: Trening karate WKF jest tożsamy z innymi sztukami walki budo. Przez trening osiąga się skuteczność w wykonywaniu technik oraz umiejętność wykonania ich także w walce pozasportowej. O poziomie wyszkolenia zawodnika świadczy dyspozycja jego oraz przeciwnika. Każdy zawodnik potrzebuje indywidualnego podejścia.

Purpose: The purpose of this article was to present Kumite training in WKF karate on the basis of analysis of sport competition preparations. Material and Method: An annual training visit was conducted in four sections of the WKF (Sports Club Funakoshi Shotokan Karate) in the Jelenia Góra district of Lower Silesia. The dialectics was based on collected data in the form of recordings, notes, interviews with trainers and competitors. Results: Didactic methods, training stages, training time structure, means of interaction and progress control were in line with the theory of sport. Conclusion: WKF karate training is identical to other budo martial arts. Through training, you gain the ability to perform techniques and the ability to perform them in a non-racing battle. The level of training of the player is provided by his and his opponent's instruction. Each competitor needs an individual approach.
