Recently, the explanations of the entrepreneurship nature tend to expand beyond the boundaries of economic sciences and begin to refer also to human sciences. Taking a decision about launching an economic activity is a final step of the process of prompting one's entrepreneurial activity. The process is preceded by entrepreneurial intentions, shaped by a set of conditions influencing human perception of reality. Familiarity with entrepreneurial intentions has a great significance for creating the programs of economic education. The article presents the possible ways of entrepreneurial intentions measurement and interpretation.

Development tendencies for small and medium-sized enterprises are difficult to predict because of their number and heterogeneity. Analysing the possible direction of changes implies the observation of economic indicators, preferable forms of financing and the processes taking place in enterprises’ environment. Despite domination of traditional way of financing it is clear that alternative way of obtaining funds (business angels, venture capital) are getting more popular. Globalisation influenced internationalisation and innovation of SMEs. Internet plays crucial role in business transactions. During last years small and medium sized enterprises experienced steady development.

The aim of the paper is to discuss the relation between economic crisis and entrepreneurship. The discussion is conducted in the light of selected theories and events which took place in 2008 and 2009 (global financial crisis).

The paper presents the basis of public finances management, as well as the solutions planned to be implemented in new budget reform in France. The article tries to depict advantages of introducing management into public finances as it orientates budget on performance and results. Taking into consideration French experience, main aspects and goals of budget reform have been described. Special emphasis was put on new 3-level budget structure (missions, programs and actions) and greater role of Parliament.

The aim of the article is to present and discuss the offer of Polish alternative market NewConnect and compare it to other European alternative markets. The selected markets include: British Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and European Alternext. For all markets: NewConnect, AIM and Alternext the characteristics of rules, the comparison with main market and calculation of entry costs was done.

The paper presents part of the results of the research project on students’ entrepreneurial intentions. The aim of the study is to determine the influence of different groups of factors on entrepreneurial intentions that is students’ perceptions of becoming an entrepreneur in future. In this paper the attention is mainly focused on a correlation between entrepreneurship education and students’ entrepreneurial intentions.

The aim of the paper is to indicate the significance of R&D in innovation process at company's level. It is achieved by studying the evolution of indicators measuring innovativeness. The authors propose set of indicators allowing to measure the influence of R&D on innovativeness of companies. The indicators include both outlays (input analysis) and their results (output analysis).
