W tekstach prawniczych różne jej odcienie są wyrażane głównie za pomocą czasowników i predykatów modalnych.Uwzględniając nakazowy i normatywny charakter tekstów prawniczych, można w nich znaleźć również inne mniej widoczne środki wyrażenia możliwości, konieczności i zamiaru. MODALITY - EXPRESSING POSSIBILITY, NECESSITY AND INTENTION IN RUSSIAAN LEGAL TEXTS Summary Legal language is the most usual code of conveying legal information. Because of their social importance, legal documents belong to the most relevant texts. Modality is one of the constitutive features of each text, legal documents included. For expressing different shades of modality mainly modal verbs, modal adverbs and modal adjectives are used in legal documents. Considering the prescribing and obligatory character of legal documents there are also other less explicit ways of imposing obligations and conferring rights.
