Streszczenie Opracowanie przybliża aspekty związane z ideologią harcerską, systemem wychowania, metodami pracy harcerskiej czy prawem harcerskim w walce o wolność i niepodległość Ojczyzny. W warunkach trudnych i ciężkich dla psychiki dziecka oraz młodego człowieka harcerstwo nie-wątpliwe odgrywało ważną rolę w codziennym życiu w obozach i osiedlach polskich rozrzuconych po wielu zakątkach świata. Wychowanie postrzegane tu jako wychowanie w rodzinie harcer-skiej to także wychowanie obywatelskie, patriotyczne, scalające i skupiające dzieci i młodzież na tułaczych szlakach.

The article describes aspects of the ideology of the scout as a way of education, scouting rules in the struggle for freedom and independence of the Polish. In difficult conditions for the psyche of the child and a young man scouting undoubtedly played an important role in everyday life in the camps and polish settlements scattered over many parts of the world. Education is understood as family scout education, civic and patriotic education in integration and focusing way on children and young people wandering trails.
