Odnawialne źródła energii jako katalizator wprowadzenia modelu gospodarki obiegu zamkniętego

The article presents selected indicators of the energy efficiency of the Polish economy. After analyzing the energy consumption indicators, it was found that despite the better efficiency achieved in the micro and macro scale, energy consumption is increasing in individual sectors, especially in transport and households. The structure of fuels, in which renewable energy sources would increase their share, should change with the increase in demand. The Polish economy deviates from the targets set by the European Union in the field of RES use and greenhouse gas emission standards. The solution to this problem may be functioning in accordance with the idea of sustainable development and replacing the linear model of the economy with a circular economy. Although investing in renewable energy sources is costly, it brings many benefits.

W artykule zostały przedstawione wybrane wskaźniki efektywności energetycznej polskiej gospodarki. Po analizie wskaźników energochłonności, stwierdzono,  że pomimo osiąganej lepszej sprawności w skali mikro i makro, zużycie energii wzrasta w poszczególnych sektorach, szczególnie w transporcie oraz gospodarstwach domowych. Wraz ze wzrostem popytu na energię  powinna zmieniać  się  struktura paliw, w których swój udział  zwiększałyby odnawialne  źródła energii. Polska gospodarka odbiega od postawionych przez Unię Europejską celów w zakresie wykorzystania OZE oraz norm emisji gazów cieplarnianych. Rozwiązaniem tego problemu może być funkcjonowanie zgodne z ideą zrównoważonego rozwoju oraz zastąpienie modelu linearnego gospodarki przez model gospodarki obiegu zamkniętego. Chociaż inwestycje w odnawialne źródła energii wymagają dużych nakładów finansowych, niosą za sobą wiele korzyści.
