The analyzed budget of Jewish Community in Radzyn Podlaski from 1927 describes mostly functioning of Radzyn’s kehilla. The document also shows the list of properties and refers to the financial policy of Jewish community. This document is one of the very few documents which survived the WWII.

The article is an attempt to present the image of Jewish community living in Międzyrzec Podlaski during the Second Republic. The main aim of the author of this article is to present the life of the Jewish community in Międzyrzec Podlaski including activities of healthcare facilities and the participation of the Jews in the political life of the city. Important part of the article refers to participation of the Jews in econo-mic life of Międzyrzec. The article helps to broaden the knowledge of Polish-Jewish coexistence in the years preceding World War II in the Podlasie Region.

Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia obrazu społeczności żydowskiej mieszkającej w Międzyrzecu Podlaskim w okresie II Rzeczypospolitej. Głównym celem autora artykułu jest przedstawienie życia społeczności żydowskiej w Międzyrzecu Podlaskim, w tym działalności placówek służby zdrowia oraz udziału Żydów w życiu politycznym miasta. Ważna część artykułu dotyczy udziału Żydów w życiu gospodarczym Międzyrzeca. Artykuł przyczynia się do poszerzenia wiedzy na temat współżycia polsko-żydowskiego w latach poprzedzających II wojnę światową na Podlasiu.

The article describes the activity of the Bund in the years 1897-1939 in Radzyń Podlaski county. The first part of the article presents the most important issues related to the activities of the Bund before 1918, including the strike activity characteristic of this period. The next part of the article describes the specificity of the Bund’s operation in the interwar period, including Bund’s activities in municipal self-government institutions and in Jewish municipalities. It also shows the influence of the Bund on cultural and educational institutions and youth organizations. The last part of the article is the description of Bund's activity during the workers’ ceremonies and demonstrations.

Artykuł opisuje działalność Bundu w latach 1897-1939 na terenie powiatu radzyńskiego. Pierwsza część artykułu przedstawia najważniejsze zagadnienia związane z działalnością Bundu przed 1918 r., w tym charakterystyczną dla tego okresu działalność strajkową. Dalsza część artykułu opisuje specyfikę działalności Bundu w okresie międzywojennym, w tym działalność Bundu w miejskich instytucjach samorządowych oraz w gminach żydowskich. Pokazuje także wpływ Bundu na instytucje kulturalno-oświatowe i organizacje młodzieżowe. Ostatnia część artykułu to opis działalności Bundu podczas uroczystości i demonstracji robotniczych.

This article describes functioning and activity of the Jewish community in Wohyń, a typical shtetl in the Lublin voievodship – during the interwar period. The first part of the article reveals the most important issues connected with history the of Jews in Wohyń and also demographic and ethnic matters of the whole population of the town. The article also contains information about demographic matters and socio-professional structure of the Jews in Wohyń. The last part deals with Jewish political parties and branch organizations.

W pierwszej części pracy przedstawiono najważniejsze zagadnienia związane z historią Żydów wohyńskich, a także demograficzne i etniczne dane całej ludności miasta. Artykuł zawiera również informacje o sprawach demograficznych i strukturze społeczno-zawodowej Żydów w Wohyniu. Ostatnia część dotyczy żydowskich partii politycznych i organizacji branżowych.
