Powieść W. Waltera „Urodzeni pod Saturnem” to bardzo oryginalny pod względem gatunkowym i stylistycznym swoisty dokument lat 30-ch XX wieku. Utwór łączy w sobie cechy powieści filozoficznej, autobiograficznej i społeczno-psychologicznej z wyraźną dominacją tej ostatniej. To w dużym stopniu powieść eksperymentalna, w której autor rozwija ideę predestynacji losu.Wwarstwie stylistycznej szeroko wykorzystuje cytowania z innych źródeł literackich.

The first and only novel by V. Valter “Born under Saturn” is an original in genre-style relation work. It combines the features of philosophical, biographical, socio-psychological novel, with a marked predominance of the latter. This is an experimental novel in which the idea of predestination has been developed. The writer uses aesthetic experience of literary predecessors and contemporaries. Quotations from other sources are frequent.

Topos domu jest jednym z kluczowych elementów obrazu rzeczywistości artystycznej w białoruskiej poezji na początku XX wieku. Zwiększone zainteresowanie toposem domu zostało zdeterminowane przede wszystkim przemianami społecznymi. Na poziomie przedmiotowo-graficznym topos domu reprezentowany jest głównie przez chłopskie domy, na poziomie semantycznym – przez metonimicznie oznaczenie ojczyzny. Topos domu pojawił się jako opozycja: dom–antydom, swój–obcy, żyjący–martwy. W poezji białoruskiej dom stanowi wartość moralną i materialną.

Topos of home is one of the main elements of the artistic picture of the national reality in the Belarusian poetry of the early 20th century. Increased interest in topos of home results from the revival of Belarusian history and culture. On the subject-shaped level topos of home is represented by a peasant house, on the semantic level – metonymically correlated with homeland. Topos of home is represented by the opposition home–anti home, a fellow countryman–a stranger, the living–the dead. In Belarusian poetry home represents moral and material values.
