European Central Bank performs/plays very important functions/roles in the country, using appropriate tools to stabilize and stimulate the economy. It monitors the market and regulates the amount of money in circulation for/as a means of permanent monitoring/control. In situations that require intervention, the appropriate instruments are used. The aim of the essay is to present the role of the Central Bank in the process of money creation in the economy and instruments that it can use for this purpose. The essay presents theoretical information/study showing the role of the Central Bank in creating cash in the economy and analyzed/the analysis of the basic factual data showing this mechanism in practice/showing how the mechanism works.

Europejski Bank Centralny (EBC) pełni bardzo ważne funkcje w celu ustabilizowania i pobudzania gospodarki. Monitoruje rynek i w celu stałej kontroli reguluje ilość pieniądza w obiegu. W sytuacjach, które wymagają interwencji stosuje odpowiednie instrumenty. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie roli Europejskiego Banku Centralnego w procesie kreacji pieniądza w gospodarce i instrumentów, które może w tym celu wykorzystać. W pracy przedstawiono informacje teoretyczne ukazujące rolę Banku Centralnego w kreacji środków pieniężnych w gospodarce oraz przeanalizowano podstawowe dane faktograficzne ukazujące ten mechanizm w praktyce.
