IT systems that use electronic data interchange standards significantly contribute to the development of companies. This is due to the possibility for increasing the efficiency of data processing, which in today's economic relations is the key to the smooth functioning of the market. The examples of companies that use EDI systems testify to the fact that the progressive computerization is a prerequisite for harmonious action, and more and more advanced solutions are highly convenient in terms of corporate governance generally understood.

The results of an analysis of the costs of quality and environmental in two companies with the similar product line has been presented. In the first part of this article has been presented empirical data and the index analysis of the factory of tools “PAFANA” SA at Pabianice. In the second part there has been described, the profile of empirical data and the index analysis of the factory of piston rings “PRIMA” SA. The evidences have confirmed many positive results of quality management in both companies.

In the second part the production process of cardboard packaging and packaging methods of marking labels were described. New technologies and innovations can significantly contribute to removing or reducing problems related to modern transport. Hyperloop is an innovative mode of transport whose task is to move people or loads at very high speed, based on the concept of sustainable transport. Due to the benefits it brings - environmentally friendly, fast, self-sufficient in terms of energy, ensuring a high level of mobility, it is an interesting option that in the future can replace the existing means of transport. The aim of this article is to present the theoretical and empirical aspect of the innovative mode of transport - Hyperloop, as an attractive alternative which in the future can replace the existing branches of transport. The work consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the work presents selected contemporary transport problems, the concept of innovations in transport and the mode of transport - Hyperloop. The empirical part of the work presents a proposal to connect selected European cities and estimate the time of traveling between them using Hyperloop.

Transport brings significant social, economic, spatial and environmental effects, and thus is an important factor in the sustainability of society and the economy. The subject of the work is the sustainable development of transport, meaning socially and economically justified activities related to the creation of conditions and the implementation of environmentally friendly and human-friendly practices of facilities, equipment and other solutions that perform the functions of movement. The purpose of the study was to present the theoretical basis for the sustainable development concept, derived from the idea of sustainable development - sustainable transport, and to present goals that are to be achieved by improving sustainable transport, with the potential to contribute to a specific target by means of instruments divided into categories: economic instruments, technological instruments, legislative instruments, organizational instruments, market instruments, educational instruments.
