Artykuł zawiera opis przypadku jedenastoletniej uczennicy z giełkotem, skonstruowany według schematu standardu postępowania logopedycznego w przypadku diagnozy i terapii zaburzeń płynności mówienia. Metoda studium przypadku ma charakter analityczny i bazuje na mechanizmie wszechstronnego porównywania poszczególnych danych pacjentki. Z uwagi na rozliczne powiązania jąkania i giełkotu, w sposób szczegółowy omówiona zostaje diagnoza różnicowa obu jednostek nozologicznych. Jak potwierdzają obserwacje terapeutyczne, wyłącznie w oparciu o prawidłowo postawioną diagnozę, jaką jest orzeczenie o typie zaburzenia, jesteśmy w stanie precyzyjnie dokonać procedury programowania terapii (sformułować jej zasadnicze cele, obrać metody postępowania i wyznaczyć w miarę możliwości jej mierzalne etapy), a następnie przeprowadzić skuteczne postępowanie terapeutyczne.

The paper contains a description of the case of an eleven-year-old schoolgirl with cluttering. The description follows the pattern of standard logopedic management in the case of diagnosis and treatment of speech fluency disorders. The case study method is analytical and based on the mechanism of in-depth comparison of the patient’s particular data. Because of many connections between stuttering and cluttering, the differential diagnosis of both nosological entities was discussed in detail. As therapeutic observations confirm, it is exclusively on the basis of an accurate diagnosis, which is a medical opinion on the disorder type, that we are able to precisely perform the procedure of programming a therapy (formulate its essential objectives, choose methods of treatment, and, as far as possible, define its measurable stages) and then perform effective therapeutic procedures.
