The contribution concerns the question of the Slovak-Hungarian relationships in 2008. It analyzes various factors, which influenced development of those relationships in 2008. It pays attention to policy of the Party of the Hungarian coalition and some causes, which influenced development of Slovak-Hungarian relationships, mostly theme of autonomy, activities of the Slovak national party and its top representatives, extremism in Slovakia, mostly in relation to mobilization of some groups of inhabitants after soccer match in Dunajska Streda. In addition, it pays attention to unsolved cause of Hedviga Malinova.
