Zawiera on charakterystykę i klasyfikację metod redukowania luki kompetencyjnej oraz prezentację wyników badań empirycznych, których przedmiotem była identyfikacja metod redukowania luki kompetencyjnej najczęściej wykorzystywanych w polskich przedsiębiorstwach.

The present article deals with the issue of developing organization's competence potential through reducing its competence gaps by means of adequate methods. It includes a description and a classification of the methods used to reduce competence gap, as well as a presentation of the results of empirical studies which aimed at identifying the methods of reducing competence gap, most frequently applied in Polish enterprises.
