The author analyses the problem of designing a logical structure for data base to be used in housing construction companies. The solutions proposed in the article concern a certain group of such companies, which are linked by a common production technology known as "Szczecin system". Owing to a uniform nature of technological and organizational conditions in these companies, it is possible to accept a common methodological approach In designing a total data bank as an element of the information system.
