Within the framework of research of the electricity market conjuncture, the electricity price dynamics in areas of the Western region has been analyzed. The analysis of wholesale prices (costs of purchase of electric power by distribution companies on the wholesale electric energy market of Ukraine), and also retail tariffs and their calculation methods has been carried out. Suggestions were given with regard to expansion of application of retail tariffs for the electricity consumption management. This is important especially for the diminishing of deficit of the maneuvering powers in energetics. Such methods of the analysis of the conjuncture, as a method of quantitative comparisons, a method of dynamics rows analysis and a visual graphic method have been used in the research.
