After a work accident the VBG – a German Social Accident Insurance Institution – has sole and comprehensive responsibility for organizing medical treatment and medical rehabilitation, for enabling the injured person to return to working life, for helping him or her to take part in the life of the community, for nursing care and for compensation in the form of wage replacement benefits and disability pensions. Aganist this background, rehabilitation is a wise investment from the financial as well as the human point of view.

Po wystąpieniu wypadku przy pracy, na VBG – Niemieckim Ustawowym Ubezpieczeniu Wypadkowym – spoczywa wyłączna i kompleksowa odpowiedzialność za zorganizowanie leczenia i rehabilitacji medycznej, aby umożliwić osobie poszkodowanej powrót do pracy, udzielenie jej pomocy w celu udziału w życiu społeczności, zapewnienie opieki pielęgniarskiej oraz wypłacanie odszkodowania w formie zasiłków i rent inwalidzkich. Na tym tle terapia stanowi mądrą inwestycję, zarówno z finansowego, jak i ludzkiego punktu widzenia.
