Relacja między pracą a kapitałem w społecznym nauczaniu Kościoła. Wprowadzenie do problematyki

Zamiarem autora było ukazanie stanowiska Kościoła wobec ważnego wymiaru kwestii społecznej, jakim jest relacja pomiędzy pracą i kapitałem. W konkluzji stwierdzono, że Kościół w swoim społecznym nauczaniu początkowo nie przeciwstawiał tych dwóch czynników produkcji, ale też nie stawiał priorytetów. Począwszy od Soboru Watykańskiego II społeczne nauczanie Kościoła coraz wyraźniej akcentuje pierwszeństwo pracy przed kapitałem. Największe zasługi na tym polu ma Jan Paweł II. W pespektywie antropologii teologicznej ukazał on personalistyczną wizję osoby, wielką jej godność, a pracę jako powołanie przez Boga i uczestnictwo w jego stwórczym dziele. Osoba ludzka, jako podmiot i sprawca ma zawsze pierwszeństwo przed środkami materialnymi. Ta zasada powinna przyświecać reformom życia gospodarczego na poziomie tworzenia ogólnych ram politycznych, wewnętrznej organizacji wielkich korporacji oraz małych przedsiębiorstw.

The author aimed at showing the position of the Church towards an important dimension of the social issue, which is the relationship between labour and capital. The conclusion was that the Church in her social teaching did not initially oppose these two factors of production, but also did not identify new priorities. Since the Second Vatican Council, the Church social teaching emphasized the priority of labour over capital. The pope John Paul II achieved the best efforts in this field. In the theological and anthropology perspective, he showed the personalistic aspect of a person, his great dignity, and work as a calling by God and participation in his creative work. The human person, as subject and perpetrator always takes precedence over material means. This principle should guide the reforms of economic life at the level of creating a general political framework, internal organization of large corporations and small enterprises.

Polskojęzyczne duszpasterstwo w Niemczech. Aktualne uwarunkowania i inicjatywy

W artykule autor scharakteryzował najważniejsze aktualne uwarunkowania polskojęzycznego duszpasterstwa w Niemczech. Do społecznych i kulturowych uwarunkowań należą: sytuacja ekonomiczna, system prawny oraz polityka społeczna docelowego kraju emigracji, status pobytowy emigranta, charakter pracy zawodowej. W zakresie religijno- kościelnych uwarunkowań wskazano na struktury duszpasterskie Kościoła niemieckiego, zasoby kadrowe Polskiej Misji Katolickiej, elementy religijności polskich emigrantów. W trosce o rozwój życia religijnego wśród emigrantów utrzymuje się tradycyjne formy duszpasterstwa (Msza święta, udzielanie sakramentów, pielgrzymki) oraz wprowadza się nowe (sympozja teologiczno-pastoralne, konkursy religijne, spotkania młodzieży, warsztaty robocze, kursy dokształcające).

The article characterises the most important current conditions of Polish speaking pastoral care in Germany. The social and cultural conditions include: the economic situation, legal system and social policy of the target country of emigration, the emigrant’s residence status and the nature of professional work. In terms of religious and ecclesiastical conditions, the pastoral structures of the German Church, the human resources of the Polish Catholic Mission and the elements of religiousness of Polish emigrants were indicated. In the interest of the development of religious life among the emigrants, traditional forms of pastoral care (Holy Mass, administering of sacraments, pilgrimages) are maintained and new ones are introduced (theological and pastoral symposia, religious competitions, youth meetings, workshops and further education courses).

Questi principi si fondano sulPintegrale e realistica visione delPuomo, la quale e contenuta nell’antropologia cristiana. Vale a dire che questi principi avevano anche una funzione particolare per la societó polacca. Essi erano un crite- rio della volutazione etica dei cambiamenti del sistema politico. Per i fedeli laici questi principi sono uno stimolo per impegnarsi nel campo della politica ed econo- mia per proteggere cosi il bene di ogni persona eonie il bene comune di tutta la societó.

The characteristics of contemporary Polish youth were carried out in the context of system transformation in Poland after 1989. The importance of institutional and cultural pluralism was pointed out. The dominant tendency, in the transformation of religiosity and morality of the young generation, is selectivity. Among many young people, individualism and ethical relativism are consolidated. Pastoral care of the youth pointed to appreciation of the pastoral care of families, development of religious groups and catechesis inspired by the idea of a catechumenate.

Charakterystyka współczesnej młodzieży polskiej została przeprowadzona w kontekście transfor-macji systemowej w Polsce po roku 1989. Wskazano na znaczenie instytucjonalnego i kulturowego pluralizmu. W przemianach religijności i moralności młodego pokolenia dominującą tendencją jest se-lektywność. W świadomości wielu młodych utrwala się indywidualizm i relatywizm etyczny. W pastoralnej opiece nad młodzieżą wskazano na dowartościowanie duszpasterstwa rodzin, rozwijanie grup religijnych oraz podjęcie katechezy inspirowanej ideą katechumenatu.

The Social Dimension of Christian Mercy

The article shows that mercy in the contemporary social teaching of the Church has been raised to the rank of an ethical and social principle. Similarly to other social principles, it is set on the grounds of Christian anthropology. This refers to the horizontal dimension of mercy, which takes different forms in interpersonal relations, resulting from well-recognised conditionings of time and place. A method of Catholic social teaching 'see – evaluate – act' is of great assistance here. However, one must not forget that mercy also has a vertical dimension. Jesus Christ, who reveals the mystery of God as the Father of mercy, becomes the incarnation of God's infinite mercy himself. In his teaching and deeds, he demonstrated free God's mercy, which saves and gives birth to a new life. As his disciples, we are called to live as He did, thanks to the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who engrains in our hearts the lifestyle of Jesus Christ himself. Only in the perspective of God's love and mercy can human efforts in the social, cultural, political and economic spheres contribute to the creation of a true civilisation of love.

W artykule pokazano, że miłosierdzie we współczesnym nauczaniu społecznym Kościoła podniesione zostało do rangi zasady etyczno-społecznej. Podobnie jak inne społeczne principia jest ono osadzone na gruncie chrześcijańskiej antropologii. Chodzi tutaj o horyzontalny wymiar miłosierdzia, które w relacjach międzyludzkich przyjmuje różne formy, wynikające z dobrze rozeznanych uwarunkowań miejsca i czasu. Tutaj pomocna jest metoda katolickiej nauki społecznej: widzieć—ocenić—działać. Nie wolno jednak zapominać, że miłosierdzie ma także wymiar wertykalny. Jezus Chrystus, który objawia tajemnicę Boga będącego Ojcem miłosierdzia, sam staje się wcieleniem nieskończonego Bożego miłosierdzia. W swoim nauczaniu i postępowaniu ukazuje darmowe Boże miłosierdzie, które zbawia i rodzi nowe życie. Jako jego uczniowie jesteśmy wezwani do tego, by żyć tak jak On, dzięki darowi Ducha Świętego Pocieszyciela, który zakorzenia w naszych sercach styl życia samego Chrystusa. Tylko w perspektywie Bożej miłości i miłosierdzia ludzkie wysiłki w dziedzinie społecznej, kulturowej, politycznej i gospodarczej mogą przyczynić się do budowania prawdziwej cywilizacji miłości.
