The issue of reading biblical literary and iconic texts is a permanent element of Polish language teching process. These texts are widely read in education, student books and other cultural texts. Knowing them is essential to let a young person understand the evoluation of culture in Europe and Polnad during his/her further education. The aim of this article is to present a Polish language teacher the ways of reading those uneasy iconic messages at the same time inspiring a teacher to multithreaded and wide periphrasis in both literary and iconic context. It is a crucial element of students´ cultural competence training which is essential in a young person education.
