Celem artykułu jest prezentacja propozycji metodycznej, dotyczącej pomiaru i oceny postaw przedsiębiorczych oraz zaangażowania studentów w proces doskonalenia kompetencji zawodowych. Przedstawiono w nim wyniki badania pilotażowego, przeprowadzonego wśród studentów Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Zawodowej im. A. Silesiusa w Wałbrzychu, które posłużyły do weryfikacji opracowanego narzędzia – formularza ankietowego. Wyniki badania mogą stanowić inspirację dla osób przygotowujących pro‑ gramy kształcenia w szkołach wyższych (zwłaszcza na kierunkach o profilach praktycznych), tak aby odpowiadały na współczesne wyzwania rynku pracy oraz potrzeby studentów. Badanie ankietowe pozwoliło na prezentację graficzną wyników w postaci macierzy zaangażowania studentów w prace zespołowe oraz powstanie listy najczęstszych przyczyn braku ich zaangażowania zarówno w pracę grupową, jak i w rozwój własny.

Studia dualne to współcześnie niezwykle atrakcyjna, chociaż w Polsce jeszcze nie powszechna forma kształcenia zintegrowanego. Czy są to studia przyszłości? W artykule zawarte zostały rozważania na temat istoty i znaczenia tego typu studiów w procesie kształcenia, które powinno być zdeterminowane potrzebami współczesnego rynku pracy. Autorka dokonuje przeglądu ofert polskich uczelni wyższych w zakresie prowadzenia stu‑ diów dualnych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie niezbędnych warunków uruchomienia i prowadzenia tej formy kształcenia, a także potencjalnych korzyści płynących dla interesariuszy (studentów, pracodawców, uczelni jako instytucji). Studia dualne przedstawiono jako formę rozwoju postaw przedsiębiorczych oraz kompetencji zawodowych studentów (w tym niezwykle cenionych na rynku pracy kompetencji społecznych). Autorka zachęca uczelnie wyższe, które nie oferują jeszcze studiów dualnych, aby rozważyły możliwość ich uruchomienia na wybranych kierunkach. W artykule proponuje się, aby proces uruchamiania tej formy kształcenia rozpocząć od przeprowadzenia badań diagnozujących.

W artykule znalazły się refleksje dotyczące zasadności monitorowania procesów logistycznych szpitala w procesie doskonalenia jakości usług medycznych. Wśród przykładowych kryteriów oceny jakości świadczenia usług medycznych wymieniono następujące: zawodowe (lekarzy, pielęgniarek), dostępności usług medycznych, obsługi, komunikatywności oraz prestiżu placówki medycznej. Autorka podaje przykłady wskaźników, które mogą być wykorzystane w procesie monitorowania jakości szpitalnych procesów logistycznych. Efektem realizowanych badań naukowych jest prezentacja przykładowej karty kontrolnej x – R dla średniego procentowego wskaźnika wykorzystania łóżek szpitalnych w Specjalistycznym Szpitalu X (w latach 2008-2013).

Reflections on the appropriateness of hospital logistics process monitoring in the process of improving the quality of medical services are located in this article. Among the examples of criteria for assessing the quality of the provision of medical services listed: professional criteria (doctors, nurses), availability of health care services, communication skills, and the prestige of a medical facility. Author gives examples of indicators that can be used to monitor the quality of hospital logistics processes. Result of carried out research is the presentation of x - R sample chart for the average percentage of hospital beds utilization rate in the Specialist Hospital X (2008-2013).

Aglomeracja Wałbrzyska tworzona jest przez 23 gminy o zróżnicowanym stopniu rozwoju liniowej infrastruktury transportowej. W opracowaniu podjęto próbę analizy i oceny działań jednostek samorządu terytorialnego Aglomeracji Wałbrzyskiej pod katem istniejących dróg i sieci kolejowych oraz występującego na nich zjawiska kongestii. Pod uwagę wzięto takie elementy infrastruktury jak: drogi krajowe, wojewódzkie i gminne oraz sieci kolejowe. Analizując i oceniając zjawisko kongestii, dokonano obserwacji dróg aglomeracji, zarówno w godzinach szczytu, jak i poza nim. Na tej podstawie możliwa była identyfikacja „wąskich gardeł” w ruchu kołowym oraz zróżnicowanego stopnia rozwoju liniowej infrastruktury. Dokonano tez oceny funkcjonalności tej infrastruktury, a także wskazano preferowane kierunki jej dalszego rozwoju.

Walbrzych Agglomeration consists of 23 municipalities of varied levels of development of their linear transport infrastructure. This paper attempts to analyse and evaluate the local government units of Walbrzych Agglomeration in terms of the existing roads and rail networks, as well as congestion phenomenon. The author has considered such elements of the infrastructure as the national, provincial and municipal roads, as well as the railway networks. The observation of the phenomenon of congestion and the analyses and evaluations of Walbrzych Agglomeration roads were made both at peak and off-peak times.On this basis it has been possible to identify traffc bottlenecks and make differentiation of the development levels of the linear infrastructure in the examined area. The functionality of this infrastructure has also been evaluated, as well as the preferred directions for its further development.

Logistics is a branch science and art of practical action, which deals with efficient and effective control of materials, products and information flows. This article is an attempt of theoretical considerations on the advisability of introducing logistics solutions to the public services sector. Paying attention of readers (managers, local government officials, hospital directors, employees of the local authority, as well as students) on the potential opportunities the application of logistics solutions in organizations that operate in the public sphere is the goal of this publication. The paper presents elements of logistics in public services, which in authors' opinion can bring measurable benefits, both in terms of organization and economically. On a background of the characteristics of modern society, whose unique properties result from factors such as knowledge, globalization, chaos, diversity and freedom considerations in this work are presented.

Presentation of development directions of the Wałbrzych Agglomeration in the context of changes taking place in the area of logistics, including road infrastructure and its accompanying systems is the purpose of this publication. This article presents the results of a survey conducted among 22 territorial self-government units belonging to the Agglomeration. The questionnaire forms were addressed to employees of municipalities holding positions of: mayors, commune heads, their deputies, treasurers and secretaries. The agreement idea of local government units within the framework of the Wałbrzych Agglomeration is to solve problems together and search for integrated methods and development tools. In the course of the research, the authors sought an answer to the question: did the logistics infrastructure change over the last 10 years, and if so, how do they assess the investments undertaken in this area (in the opinion of the employees of territorial self-governments of the Wałbrzych Agglomeration)? This research question allowed the authors to focus on contemporary and future directions of the Wałbrzych Agglomeration development on which the currently implemented logistics processes have a significant impact.
