Autorka poświęca swoje zainteresowanie problematyce familizmu rozumianego jako uznawanie znaczenia identyfikacji z rodziną, lojalności rodzinnej, wagi wzajemnej pomocy i wspierania między jej członkami. Analizując proces zaspokajania potrzeb bytowych gospodarstw domowych, podejmuje próbę określenia stopnia wykorzystywania zasobów społecznych. Porusza problem dostępu do instytucji publicznych i możliwości korzystania z ich usług jako przedmiotów lokalnej polityki społecznej oraz wykorzystywania wszelkich rodzajów transferów rodzinnych. Podstawą empiryczną artykułu są rezultaty sondażu przeprowadzonego w roku 2006 na próbie imiennej, reprezentatywnej dla dorosłych mieszkańców województwa lubuskiego, oraz drugiej edycji Lubuskiego Sondażu Społecznego z 2009 roku. W analizie zostały także wykorzystane rezultaty wywiadów narracyjnych przeprowadzonych w 2008 roku.

The paper addresses the issue of familism understood as recognizing the importance of identifying with the family, loyalty among its members, and significance of mutual help and support. By analyzing the process of satisfying domestic needs of a household, an attempt is made at determining the extent to which social resources are being used. The problem of access to public institutions and making use of their services as the items of local social policy, as well as using all kinds of family transfers is also discussed. The empirical basis of the article comes from the results of a survey conducted in 2006 on a random sample of individuals, representative of adult inhabitants of Lubuskie administrative province and the second edition of the Lubuskie Social Survey from 2009. The analysis also makes use of narrative interviews conducted in 2008.
