Polska gospodarka oraz jej bezpieczeństwo są znacząco oparte na stabilności funkcjonowania sektora MSP. Mocny, innowacyjny, ciągle rozwijający się sektor tych przedsiębiorstw jest wskazany w oparciu o wyszczególnione w literaturze role tegoż sektora jako element składowy szeroko rozumianego pojęcia bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego państwa. Przedstawione znaczenie płynności finansowej oraz jej wpływ na istotne procesy gwarantujące przedsiębiorstwom tego sektora rozwój oraz bezpieczeństwo ma bezpośrednie przeniesienie na stan jego funkcjonowania, a zarazem szeroko rozumiane bezpieczeństwo ekonomiczne państwa. Zachwianie stabilności płynności finansowej jest poważnym niebezpieczeństwem, które w gospodarce rynkowej jest częstym zjawiskiem, dlatego też wymaga ono ciągłego nadzoru oraz odpowiedniej polityki i strategii gwarantujących jak najmniejsze zakłócenia w procesie funkcjonowania oraz rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa. Bardzo istotnym narzędziem w rękach zarządzających firmami tego sektora, podnoszącym gwarancje zachowania bezpieczeństwa i płynności finansowej, jest biały wywiad, którego celem jest pozyskanie wiedzy dotyczącej sytuacji ekonomicznej kontrahentów oraz powstałych nadużyć na szkodę firmy. Ciągle występujące zmiany na rynku powodują, że biały wywiad wskazuje się jako narzędzie konieczne do stosowania w codziennym funkcjonowaniu, rozwoju oraz budowaniu bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego przedsiębiorstwa. Stworzenie przez przedsiębiorstwo wewnętrznego systemu pozyskiwania i gromadzenia informacji jest elementem wczesnego ostrzegania przed zagrożeniami oraz niebezpieczeństwami, jakie niesie gospodarka wolnorynkowa, a uzyskana wiedza w wyniku analizy tych informacji i wykorzystana w procesie decyzyjnym jest bardzo istotnym narzędziem dla zarządzających.

The Polish economy and its security are significantly based on the stability of functioning of the SMEs sector. The strong, innovative and still developing sector of such enterprises is presented on the basis of roles of that sector, specified in literature, as an element of broadly understood idea of the economic security of the state. The importance of financial liquidity presented herein and its impact on essential processes, which guarantee enterprises in this sector their development and security, directly translates into the condition of their functioning and at the same time into the broadly understood economic security of the state. Upsetting of the stability of financial liquidity is a serious danger, which is a frequent phenomenon in the market economy, that is why it requires a continuous supervision and appropriate politics and strategies which guarantee the least possible disturbances of the process of functioning and development of an enterprise. An essential tool in hands of managers of enterprises in that sector, which increases guarantees of maintaining the security of financial liquidity, is the open-source intelligence aimed at obtaining information on the economic standing of contracting parties and frauds committed to the detriment of an enterprise. Continuous changes in the market cause that the open-source intelligence is indicated as a tool necessary to be applied in everyday functioning, development and building up economic security of an enterprise. The creation of an in-company system of obtaining and collecting information is an element of early warning about threats and dangers, which free-market economy brings, and the knowledge acquired as a result of the analysis of such information and applied in a decision-making process is an essential tool for managers.
