One of interesting, especially from the axiological perspective, aspects related to the area of the public administration activity is supervision of associations. The objective of the article is to present some issues related to this area in the light of the Act: Law on Associations, taking into account a broader normative background. The scope of the discussion comprises the legal basis of public bodies’ activities in the field, and consequent performance of their functions in the area.
