The visa dialogue and visa liberalization between Ukraine and the European Union are the result of European policies promoting partnership and neighbourhood cooperation. It is also a consequence of political changes in Ukraine, especially after 2014. Pro-European and pro-Atlantic governments in Ukraine are interested in implementing reforms, adapting legislation, regulations and standards to European Community law and deepening economic and political cooperation. The result of these processes is benefits not only for cooperating entities, but also for ordinary citizens. We see the results of these policies in Slovak Republic in the presentation of data on migrants from Ukraine and the migration of Ukrainians to Slovakia.
