This paper deals with the analysis of a multiple attribute decision making problem with no inter-criteria information. The problem is studied as a multiplayer, non-cooperative coordination game. Each equilibrium in the game corresponds to a decision variant. To choose a variant the general theory of equilibrium selection in games is used. The relation of risk dominance, introduced by Harsanyi and Selten (1988), is applied. In the method proposed a key element is to determine the reference point (status quo situation) - the least desirable situation with respect to each criterion separately. The method proposed supports decision making as regards selection and ordering.

Głównym celem pracy jest przedstawienie możliwości uwzględniania nieporównywalności kryteriów w procedurze wielokryterialnego wspomagania decyzji z wykorzystaniem metody AHP. Praca dotyczy zastosowania metod wielokryterialnych do oceny projektów inwestycyjnych dotyczących wyrobiska wybierkowego w kopalni węgla kamiennego.

The main aim of this paper is to present the possibilities to take into consideration non-comparability criteria in the procedure of multi-criteria decision support using AHP method. The work concerns the application of multi-criteria methods for the evaluation of investment projects associated with excavation in hard coal mine. The inclusion of non-comparability criteria is associated with the safety aspects of work (existing threats). The issues dealt with in the work are a consequence of the investment life cycle analysis evaluation and the use of the concept of risk dominance for the decision support.

In the paper an idea of cooperation supporting method based on game theory and multicriterial analysis. Because of taking into consideration a cooperation game with empty core an idea of supporting is based on Bondareva's and Shapley's conditions for non-emptyness of the core. There is defined a minimal value which should be added to payoff of great coalition. The minimal value should be profitable. Also an idea of multicriterial support for establish winnings for the players in cooperative game is presented. The problem is considered in case when ad hoc arrangement is irrational in meaning that the allocation of winnings is outside the core of the game. The proposal is based on concept of goal programming and reference point method. The proposed ideas are shown on example of cooperation problem of the three autonomous departments in enterprise.

In this paper multiple criteria decision problem is considered as a noncooperative game. Each criterion is assigned with a player and every feasible (and effective) solution with a pure strategy. Players payoffs result from assessments of solutions in game state where every player chooses the same strategy-solution. In the analysed game status quo situation is a state in which at least one player-criterion chooses different strategy. The problem of payoff definition in such situation is considered in the paper. A proposal is to state pessimistic payoffs in status quo situations as minimal value of payoffs in situations related with considered solutions of multiple criteria problem (exactly multiple criteria choice problem). The proposal is compared with a deterministic model and solution and based on example from Madani and Lund's (2011) work.

Praca dotyczy zastosowania metody AHP do oceny projektów inwestycyjnych (ścianowych) w kopalni węgla kamiennego.

In this paper is considered the application of the AHP method to evaluate investment projects in a hard coal mine. There are analyzed the assessing and ranking problems of nine investments that are evaluated with respect to multiple criteria, in subsequent phases of the life cycle of the project: preparatory works, operation and decommissioning. The criteria, except one relating to existing threats, are qualitative and are associated with the costs of production volume (deposits, expected coal bed volume). The final ranking of investment compared to the ranking resulting from the single objective analysis on the basis of the ratio of unit costs (total costs in relation to the the coal bed volume). The differences in the evaluation of projects result from the inclusion the criteria explicitly related to threats.

The paper presents a facilitating procedure of the material planning requirements for a coal mining company. To determine the size of the materials are used the multicriteria model, the lexicographic goal programming and the maximin method. The main criteria in the site procedure are probabilities of covering the future demand for materials. The Application of the procedure is shown in the example of fixing a contract for mining wood, polyurethane adhesive, steel racks and smooth steel idlers.
