Tytus Woyciechowski (1808–1879) was born 31rd of December in Lviv. He finished Warsaw Highschool in 1826. Then he studied Administration at Warsaw University (1826–1828). Since 1828 he had started to managed Poturzyn Estate, causing economic prosperity in this area. He built a watermill, a distillery and sugar-factory. He introduced rotation of crops. Sheeps husbandry was famous in whole area. From 1828 till 1875 he increased the value of assets from 500 000 to 2 000 000 zloty. He was a father of sugar industry in Lublin Providence. He iniciated the first convention of sugar industry in Kingdom of Poland (1847). He had a huge influence on the composer Fryderyk Chopin. He was his best friend and a reviewer. He composed himself. I they youth they created a piano duet. He was an addressee of 22 preserved letters from Fryderyk Chopin. He was known for his patriotic attitude. He was a participant of November Uprising (1830–1831) as a sub-lieutentant. He was honoured by the Golden Order of Virtuti Militari. He was a aide-de-camp of the commander-in-chief of the uprising. He was an active member of Agricultural Society (1858–1861). Supporter of renting the peasants. Before an outbreak of January Uprising (1863–1864) he performed one of the highest functions in political camp of Biali (Whites) (Biali – liberal-conservative political faction). A member of close management of Delegacja Narodowa and Dyrekcja Wiejska. He married Alojza from Poletyło family in 1838 with whom he had four children: Joseph (1838–1863), Teresa (1840–1916), Maria (1843–?), and Władysław (1846–1886). He died 23rd of March 1879 in Poturzyn. He was buried in Oszczów cemetery (poviat Tomaszów Lubelski, voivodeship Lublin).

Hipolit Estko was born in 1800 in Hohołów. He graduated from Warsaw Highschool in 1819. In the same year he began Law and Administration studies at Warsaw University. Four years later, he married Feliksa from the Bełzecki family in Trzeszczany, who brought him a daughter Władysława in 1825. Before the November Insurrection started, he joined the artillery and in 1831 he was honoured with the Silver Order of Virtuti Militari for the battle of Ostrołęka. During the November Insurrection he bacame a second lieutenant. He built a sugar plant in Tarzymiechy in 1840, which was functioning till 1848. It was a small sugar factory, where he conducted experiments and produced sugar. Hipolit came from a house with great patriotic traditions. His grandmother Anna Estko was a sister of Tadeusz Kościuszko, who was the commander-in-chief of the Insurrection of 1794. His father Stanisław, in turn, was a major. Also, Hipolit’s uncle Tadeusz was a captain and Sykstus was a general. Hipolit lived in Hohołów near Sokal, Niedzieliska and Tarzymiechy in Zamość poviat and also in Łuszczów as well as in Trzeszczany in Hrubieszów poviat. His daughter Władysława married Maurycy Załuski in 1850. She bacame an owner of Tarzymiechy and Trzeszczany, which belonged to Hipolit’s wife Feliksa. He died in Trzeszczany, 13 January 1857.

Fryderyk Chopin corresponded with many people and his letters are a very rich source of information about people and events of that time. The letters exchanged between Chopin and other people comprise a very important source of information used for biografy of many persons, especially Chopin's greatest friend – Tytus Woyciechowski. They also show the influence of Woyciechowski on his work and present the relationship between Tytus Woyciechowski and Fryderyk Chopin during the 31 years of their acquaintance. The sketches of the family members biografy are also presented in the research: the mother of Titus Woyciechowski, Marianna, half-siblings Antonina and Karol Weltz, cousin Marianna Bogusz and his brothers-in-law Rajmund Rembieliński, Leopold Poletyło and Wincenty Skarzyński.
