Artykuł dotyczy zagadnienia wychowania w perspektywie agatologicznej. Podstawę takiego wychowania stanowi filozoficzna refleksja nad człowiekiem jako bytem, którego celem jest integralny rozwój ku pełni człowieczeństwa. Taką refleksję podejmuje Józef Tischner. Jego koncepcja człowieka agatologicznego koncentruje się na realizacji i konkretyzacji „ja” aksjologicznego, wynika bowiem ze stosunku człowieka do wartości. W takiej perspektywie w procesie wychowania istotne jest dialogiczne spotkanie wychowanka z wychowawcą, które stanowi szansę na przeżycie wartości i podążanie w kierunku dobra. Ze strony wychowawcy zakłada to konieczność świadczenia o dobru oraz inspirowanie wychowanka do poszukiwania twórczych dróg jego realizacji w życiu.

The article concerns issues of education in agathological prospect. Base of this education determines philosophical reflection on a human as a being, which aim is entire development towards the fullness of humanity. This reflection is taken by Joseph Tischner. His concept of agathological human is concentrating on realisation and concentration of axiological „I”, as a result of relations human to quality. Dialogical meeting between pupil and tutor is significant in this prospect in the process of education, which determines chance on experiencing value and moving towards the goodness. Main tutor responsibilities are necessity of evidencing about goodness and inspiring the pupil to searching creative ways in his life.

Zbawczy sens cierpienia nie zmienia faktu, że jest ono złem i należy mu się przeciwstawiać. Cierpienie należy jednak postrzegać w kontekście przyszłej chwały i wykorzystywać je dla królestwa Bożego. Cierpienia ludzkie dopełniają cierpień Chrystusa. W cierpieniu człowiek zostaje wezwany do przekraczania samego siebie. Cierpienie innych ludzi powinno wyzwalać w człowieku miłość i gotowość udzielenia pomocy

This paper concerns the meaning of human suffering in the context of participation in the redemptive suffering of Jesus Christ. John Paul II writes about this meaning of suffering in his Apostolic Letter Salvifici doloris. The redemptive meaning of suffering does not change the fact that it is evil and must be opposed. Suffering, however, should be seen in the context of future glory and must be used for the Kingdom of God. Human sufferings complete the sufferings of Christ. In suffering, the man is called to transcend himself. The suffering of others should trigger love and willingness to provide help in the man.

The economic boom, driven by the demand for slaves and furs in the countries of the Middle East and Middle Asia, the Maghreb and al-Andalus, and the resultant silver fl ows coming into the peripheral zone of Europe, permitted or facilitated the formation of early centres of power. In Wielkopolska, fur from tributes and people captured during raiding expeditions were traded for ores and luxury goods. These, in turn, were used to pay for the retinue (družina). Therefore, prestige and silver constituted the basis of ‘central’ power, conditioned the support for the power and thus its continued reign. The Czech lands were an important link in the transcontinental trade connecting Khazaria and Hungary with al Andalus. The Přemyslids’ power relied heavily on the income arising from the control over the routes passing through Prague. Nevertheless, their reign, notably Boleslav I’s, was also founded upon the organisation of slave export, a factor driving and regulating the Bohemian political economy throughout the second half of the tenth century.

This article concerns the topicality of the message of the apostolic exhortation of Benedict XVI Ecclesia in Medio Oriente regarding the issue of social-religious nature on building unity in diversity. Unity is being built through actions about inner and external peace and justice in love and mutual respect, whose source is Jesus Christ. It is necessary for the credibility of the testimony of communion of Christʼs disciples, obliging for constant conversion, formation and life consequences.
