Profesja zakonna jako sakramentalium w kontekście liturgii Kościoła

In the article the profession of the religious has been presented according to the mutual relationship between sacramentals and sacraments. The study based on the euchologies of the new ritual and of the proper Mass orders proves the clear reference of the profession to baptism, Eucharist and indirectly to confirmation. It has been also emphasized that sacraments and sacramentals are mutually conditioned. They allow Christians for constant and creative connection with God and confirm complementarity of the principles ex opere operato and ex opere operantis in liturgy. This is Spirit the Paraclete, who enables to participate in the mystery of the bridal engagement with Christ in mature and fruitful way. Conscious commitment to the Holy Spirit, who should be associated with the sacrament of confirmation and with each epiclesis, helps to experience the act of profession and the results of it in the eschatological dimension. The profession of the religious, which belongs to the constitutive sacramentals, has an essential impact into the shaping and development of the participatio actuosa of the consecrated persons in the liturgical life of the Church.

W artykule profesja zakonna została zaprezentowana w kluczu wzajemnej relacji między sakramentaliami i sakramentami. W opracowaniu opartym na euchologiach nowego rytuału i oraz mszy obrzędowych wykazano wyraźne odniesienie profesji zakonnej do chrztu, Eucharystii oraz pośrednio do bierzmowania. Dowiedziono też, że sakramentalia i sakramenty wzajemnie się warunkują i pozwalają chrześcijaninowi na stałą i twórczą łączność z Bogiem, potwierdzając komplementarność zasad ex opere operato i ex opere operantis w liturgii. Dojrzałe i owocne uczestnictwo w misterium zaślubin z Chrystusem zapewnia Duch Paraklet. Świadoma uległość Duchowi Świętemu, którego należy kojarzyć z sakramentem bierzmowania i z każdą epiklezą, pomaga przeżywać profesję i wynikający z niej stan w wymiarze eschatologicznym. Profesja zakonna, która należy do grupy sakramentaliów konstytutywnych, w istotny sposób wpływa na kształtowanie i rozwój participatio actuosa osób konsekrowanych w życiu liturgicznym Kościoła.

The new Ordo consecrationis virginum underlines the very ancient and evangelical motif of consecration, which draws us back to baptismal consecration, opening the way to the eschatological feast of the Lamb, which can be anticipated now by total devotion to Christ. The prayer of consecration and partly the homily convey the main theological idea of sponsal and spiritually furtile love, perfectly exemplified in the person of Holy Mary, Mother of God.

The aim of this article is to clarify the essential and often neglected function of liturgical silence. In practice silence is usually intended to prepare the participants for listening or reflecting upon the word, especially when proclaimed by the minister. Whereas it is vital to know that silence constitutes a creative element of the liturgy, because the involvement of the Holy Spirit. In His action and cooperation with the participants He enables them to get into communion with Christ the Word and the Person and eventually to join effectively His mission. In that sense silence helps the Holy Ghost to fulfill His function in continuing the dialogue between God and man as well as in enhancing one’s spiritual skills for the fruitful participation in the Mystery of Christ and the Church.

The article refers to a rare liturgical and theological issue, which points to spirituality, yet it fully employs the reality of liturgy. By this we do not mean a simple conjunction of the two theological fields or aspects of the Church's life and the more we do not intend to make a methodological mixture, but rather we wish to look at the liturgy in a spiritual way as well as to understand, that true Christian spirituality finds the inevitable and genuine source in the liturgy. The reason is simply the presence of Christ and His Mystery of redemption and sanctification. The topic signalled in the title is the liturgical spirituality. In a brief study the author presents current efforts of coping with the issue of the mystical aspect of liturgy, starting from the postulates of the II Vatican Council along several attempts at defining liturgical spirituality. Even in these few approaches at the subjectmatter we discover the importance of the history and predominating perception of spirituality, liturgy and the Church in particular periods. Hence the need of studies and formation arises with the keen appreciation of the apparently hidden inspirations ofthe conciliar teaching, which by short expressions may direct our attention towards the main profile of renewal.

Artykuł dotyczy rzadkiego zagadnienia liturgicznego i teologicznego, które bezpośrednio wskazuje na duchowość, ale jednocześnie w pełni korzysta z realiów liturgii. Nie chodzi bynajmniej o proste połączenie dwu dziedzin nauki i życia Kościoła lub ich metodologiczne pomieszanie, ale o spojrzenie na liturgię przez pryzmat ducha oraz zrozumienie, że duchowość znajduje swoje niezbywalne źródło w liturgii ze względu na obecnego i działającego w niej Chrystusa oraz Jego Misterium odkupienia i uświęcenia. Sygnalizowany w tytule temat to duchowość liturgiczna. W krótkim studium autorka prezentuje aktualne wysiłki podejmujące zagadnienie mistycznego aspektu liturgii, rozpoczynając od postulatów Soboru Watykańskiego II poprzez pokazanie kilku prób definiowania duchowości liturgicznej. W tych nawet kilku lapidarnych określeniach przedmiotu badań odsłania się rola historii z dominującym w poszczególnych okresach rozumieniem duchowości, liturgii oraz Kościoła. Rodzi się zatem potrzeba studiów i formacji przy jednoczesnym docenianiu ukrytych pozornie inspiracji nauki soborowej, które w krótkich sformułowaniach kierują uwagę wiernych na główny profil odnowy.

The article deals with the role of leadership of the ordained priest. This funcion arises from Christ’s Priesthood, which obviously dierects the Church towards the Father. It happens mainly within liturgy, when a priest is a guide both in teaching and in selfoffering to the Father. An important role of a priest as a leader is to evoke in peoples’ hearts a desire for the Holy Spirit (epicletic attitude), who is the ultimate Guide leading to the full Truth. The priestly spirit of leadership is kerigmatic (proclamation of Good news) and mystagogical, because it initiates into the Mystery of salvation through activating peoples’ common priesthood.
