The paper touches upon the question of economic socialization as an interdisciplinary term in the context of behavioural economics. The issue is interesting to social sciences which bring in a number of different perspectives. The paper reveals the complexity of the process by presenting it from different angles and identifying potential research areas. It is based on studies into Polish and international literature. In studies on economic socialization problems of consumer socialization and financial socialization clearly stand out. Apparently, researchers are interested in studying the body of economic knowledge accumulated at each stage of human life. One should agree with the thesis according to which the quality of economic socialization may depend on the quality of knowledge and conduct of socialization actors, which, in turn, change over time and depend on the place. On top of that, socialization actors exhibit different skills in the field of knowledge transfer and personal qualities which favour or inhibit economic socialization.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienie socjalizacji ekonomicznej w ujęciu ekonomii behawioralnej jako pojęcia interdyscyplinarnego. Stanowi ono przedmiot zainteresowań nauk społecznych, z których każda wnosi inny punkt widzenia. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie złożoności tego procesu, poprzez przedstawienie go w różnych ujęciach, jak też zidentyfikowanie potencjalnych obszarów badań. W realizacji zamierzenia wykorzystano studia literaturowe krajowe i zagraniczne. W studiach nad socjalizacją ekonomiczną wyróżniają się problemy socjalizacji konsumenckiej i finansowej. Zauważalne jest także zainteresowanie badaczy wiedzą ekonomiczną na każdym poziomie rozwoju człowieka. Należy zgodzić się z tezą, że jakość socjalizacji ekonomicznej może zależeć od jakości wiedzy i zachowań prezentowanych przez aktorów socjalizacji, które to z kolei są zmienne w czasie i przestrzeni. Dochodzą do tego zróżnicowane umiejętności przekazywania wiedzy oraz cechy osobowe aktorów, bardziej lub mniej sprzyjające socjalizacji ekonomicznej.
