Artykuł dotyczy przemian zachodzących w telewizji w segmencie rozrywkowej oferty programowej. Po 1989 roku rynek telewizyjny w Polsce uległ demonopolizacji i dynamicznemu rozwojowi. Telewizja publiczna, jak i stacje komercyjne, rywalizowały w zaspokajaniu rosnących potrzeb widzów na nowe programy, w tym rozrywkowe. W zakresie i okresie, których dotyczy artykuł, wiodącą rolę odgrywała TVP, ale wyraźnie swoją aktywność zaznaczył też Polsat. Obok twórców, którzy swoją artystyczną drogę rozpoczęli w minionym okresie, coraz większą rolę zaczęli odgrywać artyści wywodzący się ze studenckiego ruchu kabaretowego, skupionego wokół krakowskiej „PAKI”. Zaproponowali oni nowe formy i pola tematyczne.

The article concerns the changes taking place in television entertainment programming segment. After 1989, the television market in Poland has been demonopolized and developed dynamically. Public television and commercial stations competed in meeting the growing needs of the audience for the new programs, including entertainment. In discussed period, the most important role was played by TVP, but also Polsat stressed its presence. More and more artists from the student movement cabaret also started to play a significant role (usually gathered around Crakow "PAKA"). They suggested that new forms and thematic fields in cabaret and satirical programmes

Artykuł pokrótce zarysowuje rynek miejscowej prasy Rzeszowa w okresie autonomii galicyjskiej. Na tym przykładzie wskazane zostały impulsy podejmowania ruchu wydawniczego prasy w małym mieście galicyjskim. W dalszej części, na tle ogólnej charakterystyki wspomnianej prasy oraz problemów z jakimi się borykała, przedstawiona została (z perspektywy redakcyjnej) rola prasy miejscowej oraz redakcji gazet w życiu mieszkańców miasta.

Article briefly outlines the local press market during the Rzeszow Galician autonomy. In the presented example there are shown the reasons of engaging in publishing press in the small town of Galicia.In the following, on the background of the characteristics of that newspaper and the problems that are faced, the role of the local press and newspapers in the lives of city residents is presented (with editorial perspective).
