The author discuses research knowledge in the field of theory of economic cycles, competitive entrepreneurial potentials, innovation dynamics, rational development and spontaneous order of productive systems (firms). The presented approaches to given issues are supported by works of other scholars in related fields. At the same time it introduces unpublished thoughts of theoretical and applied character. By using logical instruments author come up to a dilemma of “relative and golden section” of productive system evolution. “Relative and golden sections” occur in various objects and processes in different moments in time and even though they are related and implicate each other. It is necessary to emphasize the eclectic and syncretistic approach in the science methodology, social science in particular. In finding of harmony in diversities, unity in contrasts, quality in quantity, the beginning of the novel in the destruction of the old, the effect in potential, macro economical world in microeconomics and vice versa, etc., is the foundation of the new insight, that should be brought into economics, management theory or business.

The paper focused on the dilemmas of the power of market society. In the article, the authors focused on finding context of trends in the contemporary world and exploring the main elements of society. The main elements of society are economic, political and violent forces. The authors reach a decision that people are heading to a new stage of the development of the world, i.e. globalization tends to deglobalization, however, in a new qualitative and historical context etc. The main methodological principle of authors’ research activities is the diagnostic – therapeutical approach to the world and its development; and using the methods and techniques of mathematical-logic modeling, thought description and scenarios.

Zdaniem autorów społeczeństwo zmierza do nowego etapu rozwoju świata – globalizacja ma tendencję do deglobalizacji w nowym kontekście jakościowym i historycznym. Badanie koncentruje się na dylematach władzy społeczeństwa rynkowego. Badanie ma na celu znalezienie tendencji we współczesnym świecie i odkrycie głównych elementów społeczeństwa, którymi są siły ekonomiczne, polityczne oraz gwałtowne. Główne założenia metodologiczne badań to diagnostyczno-terapeutyczne podejście do świata i rozwoju oraz technik modelowania logiki matematycznej poprzez opis oraz scenariusze.

Oprócz korzyści ekonomicznych biznes rodzinny wpływa również na kultywowanie życia rodzinnego, utrzymując jednocześnie system wartości i styl życia z jednej strony oraz stabilizację gospodarczą z drugiej. Niniejszy artykuł opisuje wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w Republice Czeskiej i Republice Słowackiej, w oparciu o które sformułowano założenia badawcze do kolejnego etapu eksploracji funkcjonowania przedsiębiorczości rodzinnej w regionie Górnego Śląska, w Polsce i w Czechach.

In 2015 Business School Ostrava and College of Economics and Management of Public Administration in Bratislava reached the second stage of the international research Analysis of the development and status of small and medium enterprises in Slovakia and the Czech Republic by issuing the monograph Family business, theory and examples from practice. Family business, as revealed by practical analysis, has more benefits than “non-family business”. In addition to the economic benefit family business also has an impact on the cultivation of family life, while keeping the value system and lifestyle on the one hand and stabilizing the business on the other. This paper describes the goals and expected results of the research of the family businesses in the region of Upper Silesia in Poland and the Czech Republic, which builds on previous research in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.

Opracowanie przedstawia aktualne zagadnienia biznesu rodzinnego w Czechach. Najpierw przytacza się obecnie przyjęte definicje biznesu rodzinnego. Później zostają przedstawione konkretne wnioski z badań terenowych. W kolejnej części pojawiają się możliwe warianty rozwoju biznesu rodzinnego w odniesieniu do zagrożeń dla rodziny i poszczególnych firm. W ostatniej części autorzy porównują praktyczne doświadczenia i wyniki badań terenowych z informacjami uzyskanymi z dostępnej literatury [Hudaková, 2015; Mikolášová, 2015]. Celem badań firmy rodzinnej było zrozumienie wewnętrznych potencjałów rodzinnego biznesu oraz wpływ siły i kohezji rodziny w biznesie.

The article deals with current issues of the family business in the Czech Republic. First it shows the currently accepted definition of the business family. Later specific proposals from field studies are presented. In the next part a possible variant of the family business appears in relation to threats to the family and individual companies. In the last part the authors compare practical experience and results of field studies with information obtained from the available literature.
