Artykuł prezentuje współzależności pomiędzy integracją gospodarczą i globalizacją, a także omawia korzyści związane z utworzeniem wspólnego rynku oraz jego funkcjonowaniem w gospodarce światowej. Analiza ma charakter teoretyczny. Wnioski zostały oparte na polskiej i anglojęzycznej literaturze przedmiotu, zarówno na teorii integracji gospodarczej jak również efektach funkcjonowania Jednolitego Rynku Europejskiego.

The article presents interdependencies between economic integration and globalization, as well as describes the benefits of creating a common market and its functioning in the world economy. The analysis has a theoretical character. Conclusions are based on Polish and English literature, including the theory of economic integration, and also confirmed evidence of the European Single Market functioning.
