In the paper it is proposed to enrich the Big Data Temporal Maturity Model with a self-assessment form, based on Likert’s scale. The issues of an organization’s maturity in the Big Data context are presented, the Big Data Temporal Maturity Model (BDTMM) is briefly outlined, and the self-assessment form is presented and discussed. The main aim of this paper is to introduce a Big Data Temporal Maturity Model, and to present an assessment form accompanying the model. Both the model and the form have been elaborated by the author of the paper. The assessment form is based on the well-known Likert scale, and thus enables the interested organizations to check at which point of the route leading to the full use of Big Data they are now, and what they can do to progress.

The article is devoted to the problem of temporal big data analytics (BDA) in organizations in the context of the challenges arising from the business environment. The research problem originates from the multiplicity of existing approaches to implementing big data, from the multiplicity of concepts underlying these approaches, as well as from the lack of temporality context in the existing proposals. It is thus necessary to review and order the big data methodologies and strategies. The article also characterizes the challenges for an effective temporal BDA, and on this basis a set of requirements is formulated which must be met by the temporal big data analytics implementation methodology in organizations. For these purposes, firstly, a critical analysis of literature was used as the research method, secondly, methods of creative thinking, synthesis and analysis were used.

The main aim of the paper is to present and discuss the implementation guidelines of a temporal intelligent system, intended to support organizational creativity. The discussion is based on the author’s proposal concerning such guidelines, on literature research, and on the author’s research concerning temporal intelligent systems. Thus, motivation for implementing a temporal intelligent system is presented, temporal aspects of organizational creativity are pointed out, related work on implementation methodologies is included, and finally a proposal of implementation guidelines is presented and discussed in detail.

The article presents a temporal point of view of knowledge on economics. It discusses temporal knowledge and temporal intelligent systems as well as temporal ontology representation. It also presents PROTON system – an inference system for temporal ontologies and knowledge bases.

W artykule zaproponowano poszerzenie modelu dojrzałości organizacji do Big Data o formularz samooceny organizacji, oparty na skali Likerta. Przedstawiono problematykę dojrzałości organizacji w kontekście Big Data, pokazano temporalny model dojrzałości BDTMM do Big Data oraz przedstawiono formularz samooceny. Główny cel artykułu jest dwojaki: prezentacja autorskiego modelu dojrzałości i wskazanie, czym różni się on od modeli istniejących, oraz prezentacja również autorskiego formularza samooceny dojrzałości, pozwalającego organizacji ocenić, na którym poziomie modelu BDTMM się znajduje.

Twórczość organizacyjna to złożony proces, wymagający wsparcia IT. Jednak, jak dotąd nie powstało narzędzie przeznaczone do tego celu, działające w sposób kompleksowy. Opracowanie przedstawia niektóre rozwiązania IT, mogące znaleźć zastosowanie we wspomaganiu twórczości, krytycznie je analizuje, umożliwiając sformułowanie postulatów względem informatycznego systemu wspomagania twórczości organizacyjnej, działającego w sposób całościowy.

Organizational creativity is a complex process needing IT support. But up till now, there is no complex IT tool aimed at this task. This paper presents selected IT solutions that may be used to support organizational creativity. They are critically analyzed, which helps to formulate detailed tasks for a complex, and complete computer system supporting organizational creativity.
