This article aims to introduce the concept of the dignity of the notary profession. Dignity as such is not only an ethical concept, but also Has its legal significance, as violating the dignity of the profession by a notary may result in disciplinary liability. In order to speak of a violation of dignity, it is first necessary to define its meaning on the basis of the functioning of the notariat. This work contains not only a dogmatic analysis of the concept of the dignity of the profession, but also the presentation of the current position on this subject in the judicature. The concept of dignity was illustrated by the opinions of notaries themselves on this subject.
