W artykule poruszony został problem kształcenia studentów w zakresie zakładania własnej działalności gospodarczej. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań dotyczących związku pomiędzy intencjami przedsiębiorczymi studentów a nauczaniem przedsiębiorczości. W opracowaniu omówione zostały również oceny stopnia uzyskania kompetencji związanych z podejmowaniem działalności gospodarczej przeprowadzone przez studentów.

The article discussed problem of education of students in the field of setting up their own business. It presents results of studies on the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions of students and the teaching of entrepreneurship. The article discusses the assessment of the level of obtaining the competences for setting up new businesses, carried out by students.

W artykule poruszono problem wypalenia zawodowego nauczycieli akademickich zatrudnionych w Politechnice Lubelskiej. Zaprezentowane wyniki badań wskazują, iż nieco ponad 70% badanych deklaruje zetknięcie się z tym problemem. Blisko 20% ocenia, że dość często odczuwa wypalenie, a prawie 5% – bardzo często. Zakres występowania oraz natężenie odczuwania wypalenia zawodowego są zróżnicowane ze względu na stanowisko, tytuł zawodowy, staż pracy i inne obowiązki związane z dydaktyką. Uzyskane wyniki skłaniają do bardziej pogłębionych badań nad zjawiskiem wypalenia nauczycieli akademickich w Uczelni oraz przeciwdziałania mu na poziomie organizacji ze względu na jego potencjalny wpływ na jakość realizowanego procesu kształcenia.

In the article the problem of burnout regarding academic teachers employed by Lublin University of Technology was mentioned. Presented research shows, that nearly 70% of the questioned teachers declares that the problem has appeared, 20% that it happens quite often, and 5% – extremely often. Range of existing and intensity of burnout are varied, and differed considering their workplace, science title, seniority and other educational responsiblities. Gathered results show that the further research about the burnout of the academic teachers at the universities and how to fight it, because of it's not yet confirmed influence on the level of the teaching process.
