Materiały zaprezentowane w tym miejscu to 104 teksty gwarowe, będące zapisami autentycznymi językowo, zachowującymi składnię i słownictwo, a także układ całych tekstów razem ze spinającymi je ramami metatekstowymi i komentarzami wykonawców. Zostały one zebrane w roku 1984 w ramach seminarium magisterskiego prowadzonego ze studentami filologii polskiej UMCS przez prof. Jerzego Bartmińskiego. W czasie dwóch wypraw w okolice Biłgoraja: w dniach 25–28 kwietnia i 19–25 czerwca 1984 roku, dokonano nagrań swobodnych opowiadań oraz odpowiedzi na pytania specjalnego kwestionariusza dotyczącego kosmosu i kolędowania. Zebrane materiały w całości włączono do archiwum etnolingwistycznego w Zakładzie Języka Polskiego UMCS.

The materials presented in this article comprise 104 linguistically authentic dialectal texts that retain the original syntax and vocabulary and also a set of complete texts along with cohesive metatextual frames and commentaries of the interviewees. These texts were collected in 1984 as part of the MA seminar with Professor Jerzy Bartmiński for a group of students of Polish studies at MCSU in Lublin. Casual, uninterrupted stories and answers to a specially designed questionnaire concerning the cosmos and carolling were recorded during the two field trips to the area of Biłgoraj that took place between 25 and 28 April and 19 and 25 June 1984. The collected materials were then incorporated into the Ethnolinguistic Archive of the Department of the Polish Language at MCSU in Lublin.
