Abstract: The population projections for Poland to 2050 - analysis of selected aspects of the population aging The article concerns the prospects of demographic growth of Poland to 2050, based on the results of the latest forecast GUS (2014), Eurostat and the United Nations (2012). A charac­teristic feature of population change in the world, is the intensification of the process of aging of the population, but his special character applies to highly developed countries. Quantitative analysis of the available data indicates that Poland will become one of the oldest countries in Europe. Depending on the forecast, the decrease in population by 2050 will be between 3,6 - 4,5 million. However, fundamental changes will concern the structure of the population by age. All the indicators of population aging clearly show, that in the analyzed term Poland will have experience the demographic crisis - hyper aging. Its consequences will concern to many areas of social, economic and political life.Key words: demography, population aging, population forecasts (population projections), Poland 2050

Abstract: The scale and dynamics of the economic risk of poverty of large families in Poland in the years 2006-2015 in the light of research the Central Statistical Office              One of the objectives of family policy should be to support families in a difficult material and life situation, including large families. In Poland function the system (mainly family policies), which should these objectives of achieve. The effect of actions should be improvement of the situation of families, which have problems the satisfying of basic needs. But the fact remains, that large families are more likely to be poverty than other types families Irrespective of methodological framework, their situation is better, but possession a large number of children remains is an important correlate of poverty. The article concerns the diagnosis of selected aspects of the material situation of large families in Poland, based on the category of economic poverty. The basis of the analysis are results of research concerning the living standards of the Poland population covering the years 2006-2015.  Keywords: large families, financial situation, poverty, Poland
