Problem of medical malpractice is now one of the most popular problems in Polish society and in the polish media. The legal definition of medical malpracitice was made in Poland in 1952 by Highest Law Court. In that definition Highest Law Court decided that about medical ault we can say, when doctor’s diagnosis or therapy is made against the code of practice in contemporary medicine but only in approachable to him conditions. In our work we want to present contemporary classification of medical malpracitice especially in family medicine practice. We want to describe typical groups of their mistakes and their penal, civil and professional responsibility. Especially their civil and assurance responsibility is different in public and private health service. In the group of professional liability we must remember about unlegal problem of ethical responsibility due to Medicine Ethical Code. In our paper we also present data about medical malpractice from the Main Doctors Court.

It turned out that 1999 was crucial in primary health care in Poland. The institution of fami1y doctor (a manager of medical services) became dominant. The main thread of our paper is how these changes influenced an patients’ estimation of quality and medical services acessibility for the community. We present very subjective estimation of primary care functionality and medical services acessibility but also the most effective because descended from patients - receivers these services.

Unconventional or alternative medicine became one of the most popular subject in modern life. That kind of natural medicine gives the new chances for the big group of deeply sick patients. They want to find a new hope for their future. Family doctor is obligated to have the full information about the alternative methods of therapy. Some of that natural methods can be usefull for doctors practice (only methods with scientific base). But from the other side in Poland only doctors with university or medical academy diploma can make health diagnosis or medical treatment and after that kind of studies they can use the title of doctor or professor of medicine.

Family medicine is an academic and scientific discipline, with its own educational content, research, evidence base and clinical activity, and a clinical specialty oriented to primary care, family doctors are specialist physicians trained in the principles of the discipline. We present in the paper main tasks of family doctors taking health promotion and prophylaxis into special consideration as well as patients’ expectations to family doctors.

Epistemological esthetization of knowledge can have a lot of forms. In this article I focus my reflection on the person that is an electronic simulation model. The background for the reflections will be the simulation anatomical model Visible Human Project (VHP). The problem is what cognitive function the model fulfils and what it simulates. Conclusions: 1. VHP is not associated with real body, but with other anatomical models; it is not a simulation of real body, but only a simulation of its perception by us; 2. The function of anatomical simulation model has educational character. It also involves projecting medical intervention, which minimalizes invasiveness of actions. It is a part of training preparing to undertake computer-aided surgical procedures.
