This short piece summarises in a synthetic way professor Marian Maciejewski’s ‘personal research interests’ and his own ‘methodological standing’. Methodology was a real cognitive and axiological issue for him, hence the choice of kerygmatic reading of text turned out to be fundamental in his works; one that set the canon of writings to be subjected to a holistic and extremely responsible interpretation. Maciejewski focused his attention on testimonies of troubled and bruised existence of ‘the sin’s shame’. He looked upon masterpieces, reading them closely, critically and with great intensity. Maciejewski took creative awareness (especially romantic one) and formulated a strong synthesis of demands and realisations in such a way that the language of discourse was revised. This language is nowadays used not only to talk about the very phenomena Maciejewski was concerned with.

The paper presents the importance of the category of contemplation applied by Marian Maciejewski in his work: mickiewiczowskie «czucia wieczności». (czas i przestrzeń w liryce lozańskiej) [Mickiewicz’s “Premonitions of Eternity”. Time and Space in the Losanne lyrics]. This category has turned out to be important from the perspective of the axiological dimension of literary genres. Moreover, as seen also in earlier works of Maciejewski, it is the category different from the aesthetic ones. Maciejewski assesses that contemplation is a pre-textual category and has hierarchical features in hermeneutics.

Commentary on the unwritten history of modern Polish literature of Aleksander Wat   The starting point for further consideration is for the author the intriguing convergence between the modern division of twentieth-century literature, proposed by Michał Paweł Markowski (for the “conservative” and “critical” modernism), and related to the same topic more than half century earlier Wat’s intuitions. In his Dziennik bez samogłosek [Diary without Vowels] (from January 1964) arguing with Milosz (who once teased Wat with a careless treatment of his work JA z jednej strony i JA z drugiej strony mego mopsożelaznego piecyka [Me from One Side and Me from the Other Side of My Pug Iron Stove]) draws an original story of Polish literature. Among important to Wat’s number of authors like Witkacy, Leśmian, Białoszewski and Różewicz, the author focuses on the last two, explaining why they occupy such a high place in Wat’s hierarchy. “Baka’s child” Białoszewski is dear to Wat because of the discoveries in the language area, and Różewicz on the other hand, although his presence in this statement may appear surprising, is for Wat a successor to the “full” stylistic secession. Another of the interesting to Wat writers – Gombrowicz, awakens in him ambivalent feelings from unrelenting criticism of a fellow writer (“complete ignorance”), to admiration of the Kosmos [Cosmos] (“Kosmos is a great book”).

Artykuł jest próbą odkrycia w twórczości Pasierba głównych wyznaczników kondycji poety, jego doświadczeń, poczucia społecznego i kulturowego statusu. Autorka rozprawy poprzez analizy konkretnych tekstów i ich relacji z obrazami sztuki wizualnej pokazuje modelującą wtym zakresie semantycznym funkcję takich pojęć jak wygnanie, uwięzienie czy zniewolenie. Odwołanie do hermeneutyki spod znaku Paula Ricoeura umożliwiło dodatkowo postawienie ważnych tez, odnoszących się do całości dzieła poety, a wskazujących na istotną dla niego problematykę odpowiedzialności i istnienia prawdziwego (tożsamości). Artykuł dowodzi, że poezja Pasierba jest korektą kulturowego stereotypu.

The article is an attempt at discovering the main determinants of Pasierb’s condition, his experiences, his social sense and cultural status in the poet’s works. By analyzing actual texts and their relations with pictures of visual art the author of the paper shows the function of such concepts as exile, confinement or constraint that is a modeling one in the semantic range. Referring to hermeneutics of the Ricoeur type has additionally made it possible to put forward important theses concerning the whole of the poet’s work, and pointing to the issue of responsibility and true existence (identity) that is important to him. The article proves that Pasierb’s poetry is a correction of the cultural stereotype.

Krytyka kerygmatyczna jest prezentowana jako hermeneutyczna postawa badawcza (nie zaś metodologia), zmierzająca do odkrycia chrześcijańskiego wymiaru dzieła. Artykuł dowodzi, że dzięki maksymalnie pełnej interpretacji (w aspekcie poetyki historycznej) oraz zaangażowanej postawie czytelnika utworu (w aspekcie aksjologii), sztuka ujawnia osobowy, tożsamościowy kontekst macierzysty.

The author characterizes Prof. M. Maciejewski's research attitude as one taken by a historian of literature and an academic teacher. Kerygmatic criticism is presented as a hermeneutic research attitude (and not as methodology), whose goal is to discover a Christian dimension of the studied work. The article proves that owing to an interpretation that will be maximally complete (in the aspect of historical poetics) and to an involved attitude of the reader of the work (in the aspect of axiology) the art reveals its personal, identical, original context.

Ostrołęka należy do jednego z najbardziej rozwiniętych regionów Polski w zakresie produkcji zwierzęcej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem produkcji bydła. Wraz z wysoko rozwiniętą produkcją bydła wiąże się dobrze rozwinięta produkcja pasz objętościowych oraz pasz treściwych. Większość krów oraz bydła mięsnego jest hodowanych w budynkach inwentarskich posiadających podłogę szczelinową, co wiąże się z powstaniem wysokiej koncentracji gnojowicy, która stwarza problem emisji amoniaku. Artykuł przedstawia propozycje zastosowania nowej technologii dla rozwiązania tego problemu. Problem ten jest przedmiotem prac prowadzonych w różnych krajach świata przez farmerów i naukowców. Aby w prosty sposób, zminimalizować emisję amoniaku z gnojowicy, można tego dokonać poprzez zmniejszenie jej pH dodając kwasów lub innych substancji działających w podobny sposób. Stosując technologię zakwaszenia gnojowicy w oborze, w zbiorniku do przechowywania gnojowicy lub podczas rozlewania gnojowicy na polu, możemy uniknąć wielu problemów środowiskowych dotyczących emisji amoniaku. Poza tym możemy zaoszczędzić na stosowaniu ogólnej ilości nawozów w gospodarstwie.

Ostrołęka is one of the most developed agriculture region in Poland concerning animal production, but especially cattle production. With high cattle production it is connected well developed proper amount of bulky and concentrate feed. Most of dairy and beef cattle are grown in barn with slotted floor and it is connected with high concentration of slurry what creates ammonia emission problems. The article presents some proposals for development of new technology in this area. Ammonia emission is a major problem associated with animal slurry management, and solutions to overcome this problem and are developed worldwide by farmers and scientists. Quite simple way to minimize ammonia emission from slurry can be done by decreasing slurry pH by addition of acids or other substances acting in similar way. Using slurry acidification technology in the barn, in the storage or in the field we can avoid many environmental problems concerning ammonia emission. Besides that we can save on overall fertilizers usage on the farm.
