Artykuł zawiera analizę stanu i dynamiki rozwoju sektora nowoczesnych usług dla biznesu w Polsce – obecnie najszybciej rozwijającego się sektora w Polsce, zatrudniającego ponad 150 tys. osób. Autorka skupia się na analizie przedsiębiorstw finansowanych kapitałem zagranicznych, w większości poprzez zjawisko offshoringu usług, który jest odmianą zagranicznych inwestycji bezpośrednich. Analizie poddana zostaje obecna sytuacja Polski jako kraju stosującego politykę przyciąga zagranicznych inwestycji bezpośrednich i jej atrakcyjność na arenie światowej. Analiza została przeprowadzona w oparciu o metody statystyczne i ekonometryczne oraz krytyczną analizę dostępnej literatury. Podjęta zostaje również próba oceny potencjalnych ujemnych skutków offshoringu w sektorze nowoczesnych usług dla biznesu i wyzwań, z którymi być może przyjdzie zmierzyć się w przyszłości Polsce.

The article contains the analysis of rise and development of business service sector in Poland – currently the quickest developing sector in Poland, hiring 150 thousand of people. Author focus on analyse of enterprises financed by foreign capital, mostly by offshoring of services, which is kind of foreign direct investments. Current situation of Poland and its attractiveness comparing to rest of the world has been analysed. Attempt was made to assessment of negative impacts of offshoring in business service sector and challenges that can possibly occur in the future for Poland has been indicated.
