Do badań wykorzystano kwestionariusz wywiadu pogłębionego przeprowadzonego z 8 nauczycielami klas 4–6 szkoły podstawowej z woj.

The issues raised in the article revolve around the environment, current trends and problems in education that shape the reality of the Polish school. Based on the available literature, the author tries to present the problems of bureaucratization and ideologization in Polish schools. In the article, the author formulated two theses, with the first being as follows: Education in Polish schools at the basic level carries the hallmarks of ideologization. Second thesis: The excessive formalization and bureaucratization of the school paralyzes the healthy dynamics of education inherent in the school community of students and teachers. This article is of a research character with the semi-structured intelligence technique used in the qualitative research. The study involved an in-depth interview questionnaire with eight teachers from elementary school, level 4-6, from the province of Silesia. The purpose of the research was to explore the phenomena of bureaucratization and ideologization at school. The most important conclusions were the following: (a) paradoxically, bureaucratization at school can bring positive effects in the situation when the management and teachers deal with the claims of parents; (b) the practical over-emphasizing of legal provisions and bureaucratic solutions at the expense of common sense and the principles of unwritten good manners may intensify the attitude of withdrawal and resignation from upbringing in teachers; (c) there is a strong ideological pressure on schools because the real possibilities of the school are not taken into account, but only blind obedience to propaganda and an ideology that promotes the idea of tolerance as a superior value; (d) according to the respondents, the content contained in the textbooks addresses the real problems of children (acceptance of the disabled, tolerance towards people with a different culture); (e) respondents do not see any open contradictions between the achievements of particular sciences, e.g. psychology or pedagogy, and the content promoted in textbooks; (f) an important place in the school’s life from the point of view of multiculturalism is occupied by activities and habits that are proof that the institution is sensitive to the affairs of students of other faiths and cultures.
The article approaches the problem related to teaching school subjects in the secondary school from the multicultural point of view. The changing situation into multicultural in the contemporary Polish society calls for the cooperation of teachers of different subjects. Teachers while working in the school should not try to keep the mentality of the one culture country attitude towards all stu- dents. They should show young people that it is possible to learn through the different school sub- jects the significance of tolerance and mutual collaboration between people from different cultural background living in the Polish society. Teachers should be made aware of the fact that the integra- tion of students from different countries and their peaceful cooperation with the majority is possible introducing new teaching methods. The article suggests that, the only thing we can do for the growing number of foreign students in Poland, if we do not want them to keep on feeling strangers among strangers, is to give them a clear school policy through the different subjects and to change social attitudes by enforcing educa- tion not “about” multiculturality, but “how” to live in the multicultural society.

W artykule zatytułowanym Pedagogia resocjalizacji adolescentów nieprzystosowanych społecznie – doświadczenia w kontekście pracy salezjańskiej we Włoszech autor pochyla się nad zagadnieniem prewencji w duchu systemu salezjańskiego ks. Bosko w warunkach resocjalizacyjnych.

Salesian educational work with street children has its origins in the educational practice of Fr. Bosco. Currently, hundreds of Salesians around the world are involved in education of street children. Salesians’ commitment to working with street children is a clear example of the continuation of Fr. Bosco’s practice of working with the poor and homeless children and with those without prospects for the future. In this article, the author seeks to look at the specificities of Salesian educators’ influence on children and adolescents (methods of action while working with street children, goals). The theoretical part will be enriched with qualitative research conducted in May 2017. The research results are based on an analysis of the content of the available websites in dozens of countries in the world.
W artykule autor podejmuje problem integracji młodych obcokrajowców tzw. „nowych Włochów” w kontekście chrześcijańskim. Salezjanie włoscy zapoczątkowali nowy rodzaj pracy wychowawczej z nieletnimi imigrantami, którzy przybyli do Italii z różnych stron świata. W pierwszej części artykułu autor wypukla koncepcję i zadania oratorium w kontekście integracji młodych ludzi we wspólnocie chrześcijańskiej.

The article discusses the problem of the integration of young foreigners, the so called “new Italians” in the Christian context. Italian Salesians implemented a new style of educational work with adolescents/immigrants who moved to Italy from different parts of the world. The first part of the paper emphasizes that the Oratorio has a clear concept of youth’s integration with the Christian community based on human values. The second part, including empirical studies conducted in 2016, presents the contemporary efforts of the Salesians/secular tutors in their work with young immigrants.

The axiological revolution in Polish society and awareness of the challenges facing today’s educators is the inspiration for this paper’s theme of the education of youth within the changing socio-cultural context of our country. In the first part of this article the author describes young people and describes aspects related to their fundamental education. The aim of the second part is to present the profiles of two popes: John Paul II and Bedendict XVI, using documents issued by them to show their visions of education, which predominate in papal teaching. The article is therefore an analytical one and attempts to explore the idea of papal teaching concerning the upbringing of the younger generation, in a Christian personalistic perspective.
