The increasing importance of efficient as well as economically effective exchange of information in modern concepts of supply chain management is noticeable in the application of VoIP technology (Voice over Internet Protocol). VoIP as a substitute for PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) telephony is a source of savings for businesses and provides an innovative solution to the functioning of the company. It is currently the most modern mean of communication and data transmission, combining the ability to pursue a call to landline or mobile. The use of VoIP in the enterprise is associated with a significant drop in costs for telephone calls and is a part of costs' reducing strategy. An important factor of control over expenditure, and their quick calculation by the supreme executives is on-line access to the operator's billing system. Implementation of VoIP in the enterprise is on the one hand, an element of costs' reduce strategy and, on the other hand, a part of the company's development strategy oriented towards the use of modern technologies.
