The publication focuses on reception theory of postcolonialism in Poland. The starting point is to relflect on the concept of multiculturalism in Polish studies dealing exclusively with the ethnic aspect. The text is devoted to the attempt to show the relationship between ethnicity and gender issues. The main goal of this article is to look at the critical cross-references between multiculturalism, postcolonialism and feminism.
