The article is a trial of clarifying and making order of terminology that is used in area of human resources management. This is an overview of basic definitions, conceptions and models of people management, that emerged from the beginning (XIX/XX century) to nowadays. The article is a kind of presentation of human resources management evolution. It comprises a descriptions of broad range of human resources management models beginning from classic models (Harvard and Michigan models) and finishing on strategic human resources models (orthodox model and human resources architecture, proposed by R.G. Klimecki & S. A. Litz and D.P. Lepak & S.A. Snell).

The article is a review of basic knowledge management terminology. It presents such a description as: knowledge resources levels (data, information, knowledge, and wisdom), knowledge sources (internal, external), and knowledge typology (implicit, tacit or individual, social). Moreover the article characterizes knowledge management process, knowledge management system and main knowledge management strategies (codification, personalization). At the end of the article there is mentioned the knowledge creating process (the concept of knowledge creation spiral) and the role of Intelligence Technology (IT) and organizational culture as main elements supporting knowledge management implementation in organizations.

The aim of this article is presenting one of the development tools, that is coaching. There were bringing up the basic definitions and described coaching stages, styles and techniques used in conversation by trainers in the article. In the article were presented the main roles that should be kept by coach as well as the barriers that he can meets during his work. There were indicated the crucial role of interpersonal communication in conversation between two persons in that case coach and pupil and also the most popular mistakes. There were given also the roles of listening that are the most important in keeping positive vocational and private contacts with others. Moreover in the article prescribed 'good trainer' features and the sense of such skills as building the positive relations with pupil, listening, using the intuition, asking and giving the feedback.
